Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis de los factores clave asociados al abastecimiento de medicamentos esenciales en las farmacias de la IAFAS del Ejército del Perú, durante el periodo enero – octubre de 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-09-16) Hernández Hernández, Milagros Geraldine; Collantes Llacza, Adela MarleneThe objective of the study was to “analyze the key factors associated with the supply of IAFAS pharmacies of the Peruvian Army at the national level during the period January-October 2024.” The method used was analytical, the approach was quantitative, basic, the design was non experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive. The population and sample consisted of professional pharmaceutical chemists and/or military officers in charge (N=9), and nine IAFAS pharmacies of the Peruvian Army were also taken into account. Two instruments were used: a questionnaire and an observation guide. The results showed that the dimensions of administration (X² = 0.003) and operations (X² = 0.011) were significantly associated with the availability of essential medicines, unlike the dimension of logistics, which obtained an X² value of 0.134. It was therefore concluded that the key factors were significantly associated (X² = 0.047) with the supply of the IAFAS pharmacies of the Peruvian Army at the national level during the period January October 2024.Publicación Acceso abierto Cultura de seguridad del paciente y calidad de cuidado en las enfermeras de un Hospital Pediátrico Especializado, de Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-11) Aguilar Huamán, Pamela Milagros; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoIntroducción: La cultura de seguridad del paciente es uno de los indicadores de gestión hospitalaria que permite identificar los riesgos que puede producir una atención de enfermería y favorece la oferta de cuidados de enfermería de calidad. Materiales y métodos: Diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional, corte transversal y enfoque cuantitativo. En relación a la población, se consideraron 60 profesionales de enfermería que se desempeñan en los servicios de emergencia y hospitalización. En cuanto a la técnica se utilizará la encuesta y serán dos los instrumentos de medición que se aplicarán. En relación al instrumento que mide la cultura de seguridad del paciente, contiene 42 preguntas y abarca cinco dimensiones, dentro de los cuales se encuentran el trabajo en equipo, la comunicación, la cultura de seguridad, la supervisión y la gestión y dirección. De igual manera, el instrumento de calidad de cuidado de enfermería comprende 21 ítems y abarca tres dimensiones definidas como la técnica, la operativa y la humana, teniendo en consideración que los dos cuestionarios son válidos en términos de confiabilidad y validez. Analizando los diseños de investigación se incluyó 6 revisiones sistemáticas, 1 estudio transversal y 3 ensayos clínicos aleatorizados. El deficiente saneamiento ambiental muestra altos porcentajes de provocar infecciones intestinales parasitarias en una población infantil. Objective: To determine the availability and price of medications for the treatment of COVID-19 in pharmaceutical offices. Methodology: This was a descriptive study using a deductive method, a quantitative approach, an applied type, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, prospective, observational design. The population consisted of 632 pharmaceutical offices, with a sample of 205 drugstores and pharmacies, which were surveyed. Results: Azithromycin 500 mg tablets (100.0%) and Paracetamol 500 mg tablets (100.0%) showed higher availability than Ivermectin 6 mg/mL oral liquid (94.1%) and Dexamethasone phosphate 4 mg/2mL injectable (94.6%). Hydroxychloroquine sulfate 400 mg (26.8%) showed POOR availability. The medication with the highest share of cost in its sale was Azithromycin 500 mg tablets (45.4%). Hydroxychloroquine sulfate 400 mg (50.7%) showed that cost has a smaller share in its sale. Conclusion: Pharmaceutical offices in the San Martín de Porres district showed, on average, GOOD availability of medications for COVID-19 treatment (83.1%), and it was determined that price is an important factor in the medication purchase decision.Publicación Acceso abierto Gestión de abastecimiento y disponibilidad de productos farmacéuticos en dos hospitales de Lima Metropolitana, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-13) Lagos Chamorro, Susan Gisela; Sarmiento Casas, Esmeralda Beatriz; Cano Pérez, Carlos AlfredoThe objective was to evaluate the relationship between supply management and the availability of pharmaceutical products. Method. The study was basic, using a hypothetical-deductive method, a non-experimental design, a descriptive-correlational scope, a cross-sectional approach, and a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 30 pharmacy service workers from a specialized mental health hospital and 70 from a general hospital in Metropolitan Lima. Data was collected using a survey and a questionnaire. The hypothesis was tested using Spearman's Rho correlation. Results. Of the 100 respondents, 61.43% were women at the general hospital, and 64% were contract workers; at the specialized hospital, 56.67% were women, 40% were permanent staff, and 40% were contract workers. A relationship was observed between supply management and the availability of pharmaceutical products (p<0.05). The correlation was moderately positive (r=0.686). Likewise, there was a moderate positive correlation between the dimensions of selection, programming, acquisition, and supply with the availability of pharmaceutical products; as well as a moderate positive correlation between administrative management and demand coverage with supply management. The level of supply management in the general hospital was high (81.43%) and in the specialized hospital (96.67%). The availability of pharmaceutical products in the general hospital was high (74.29%) and in the specialized hospital (96.6%). Conclusion: There is a moderate positive relationship between supply management and the availability of pharmaceutical products in two hospitals in Metropolitan Lima in 2024.Publicación Acceso abierto Gestión de abastecimiento y su relación con la disponibilidad de medicamentos en la jurisdicción Red de Salud Huaytará, Huancavelica, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-29) Mendoza Ortiz, Zarella Elizabeth; Loayza Alarico, Manuel JesúsThe objective of the study was to evaluate the relationship between supply control and drug availability in the Red de Salud Huaytará jurisdiction, Huancavelica 2021. The type of research is applied at an observational, descriptive and correlational level; with a quantitative approach and non-experimental research design with a cross section. The sample located 83 managers of the pharmacy service. For the first variable, a Likert-type questionnaire was used with a validated instrument and reliability of 0.559. The data recording instrument was used for the second variable by subtracting it from a computer system. The probability associated with Chi-square and Spearman's coefficient was used. The result expressed a predominant percentage of 98.80% for the first variable that detailed the process as regular and for the second variable a percentage of 93.02%; which reduces the level as optimal. In conclusion, it is prolonged that there is a correspondence p=0.000 (p<0.05) between supply management, both in the processes of choice, planning, purchase, storage, distribution and transport and rational use, with the availability of medicines. in the jurisdiction of the Huaytará Health Network, Huancavelica, 2021; being statistically more significant with distribution and transportation.Publicación Acceso abierto Gestión del proceso de abastecimiento y sus efectos en la accesibilidad de medicamentos en el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, año 2019–2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-28) Martinez Guerra, Gladys Mirtha; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe research, titled "Supply Process Management and its Effects on Medication Accessibility at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital, 2019–2020," had the Objective of determining the relationship between supply process management and medication accessibility at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital from 2019 to 2020. The methodology was applied type, with a descriptive level and a non-experimental design that was retrospective (based on information records) and cross-sectional (according to the period and occurrence). The population consisted of 30 users of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital. The instrument used to measure supply process management and medication accessibility was a questionnaire. The data were processed using IBM SPSS to measure Pearson's Chi-squared. Results: Regarding supply process management, 53.3% indicated management was good, 43.3% regular, and 3.3% poor. Broken down by dimensions, 66.7% indicated good management for storage and distribution; followed by regular management in the acquisition dimension (60%) and use management (56.7%); and good management for programming (53.3%) and selection management (50%). It presented a methodological route based on the quantitative paradigm, typology applied, hypothetical-deductive method, with a non experimental design of transversal line and correlational scope. The population group was made up of 253 radiology personnel, with a probabilistic sample group, with 154 participants, with stratified sampling. To collect data, the survey was demonstrated as a research technique with two tools: Questionnaire on logistics management, and another on service quality, with a Likert rating. The results denoted that there is prevalence due to the average perception of the respondents with 55.8% and 48.1% for both variables respectively. The following research's methodology was quantitative, and its type was correlational. A sample of 42 employees from Thefar Drugstore was used, applying the corresponding inclusion and exclusion criteria. In this research, a questionnaire-type instrument was employed for data collection. Data processing was carried out using the statistical software SPSS 25. Moreover, a descriptive analysis was conducted, along with tables and figures, each accompanied by its respective interpretation. A relation was found between the Six Sigma Methodology and the Supply of Pharmaceutical Products, with a Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.648, which indicates a strong positive correlation. This suggests that when the Six Sigma Methodology tends to be effective, the supply of pharmaceutical products will also be efficient. Regarding the objectives related to the dimensions of definition, measurement, and control, Spearman's Rho coefficient showed a moderate positive correlation between each dimension and the variable. For the analysis and improvement dimensions, a strong positive correlation was found. A basic, quantitative, descriptive investigation was developed using the deductive method. - correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional. It was studied in 80 participants in the processes of supply and supply of medicines, through a Likert-type survey. As a result, it was obtained that the supply processes occur at a regular (48.75%) and optimal (33.75%) level, the supply processes at a regular (47.50%) and good (36.25%) level. The results according to dimensions show a direct and high positive relationship between the selection process and the supply of medicines (Spearman = 0.700); a direct and moderate positive relationship between the scheduling process and the supply (Spearman = 0. 675); direct and moderate positive relationship between the procurement process and supply (Spearman = 0. 674); direct and moderate positive relationship between the storage process and supply (Spearman = 0. 621); direct and moderate positive relationship between the distribution process and supply (Spearman = 0. 622); and, a direct and moderate positive relationship between the rational use process and the supply (Spearman = 0. 626). A quantitative, correlational, and descriptive methodology with a cross-sectional design was applied. The study sample consisted of 50 police officers working in the pharmacy area during 2023, who were assessed using a survey including the study variables. Data were statistically processed with SPSS, showing parametric characteristics, with normality indices below 0.05 in the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test. The correlation analysis yielded a p-value of 0.032, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative. Spearman’s rho correlation coefficient was 0.423, indicating a significant association. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the digital system and the supply of medicines in the pharmacy area of the PNP Captain Alcides Vigo Hurtado Polyclinic, Lima 2023.
