Ítem Acceso abierto Benefits of telemedicine to facilitate access for people in remote rural and marginal urban areas to specialized health services.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-07-22) García Meza, Gloria Isabel; Mendigure Fernandez, JulioObjective: To systematize and analyze evidence regarding the benefits of telemedicine to facilitate access to specialized health services for people in remote rural and urban marginal areas. Materials and Methods: This was a systematic review of 10 scientific articles on the benefits of telemedicine for facilitating access to specialized health services for people in remote rural and urban marginal areas. These articles were found in the PubMed, Medline, and Cochrane Plus databases. All the studies were of types and designs: systematic review (04), meta-analysis (01), clinical trial (01), case-control (01), cross-sectional (02), and quasi-experimental (01). Results: Of the total of 10 articles reviewed, 100% (n=10/10) agree and provide evidence that telemedicine offers a health benefit, as it enables specialized care for emergency patients located in remote or hard-to-reach areas, while also facilitating the development and decongestion of small, overcrowded hospitals. Conclusion: The use of telemedicine represents a benefit to the healthcare system by allowing timely and specialized care in emergency situations for patients located in remote or hard-to-reach areas. Therefore, telemedicine facilitates the early management of critically ill patients before the arrival of emergency teams or their transfer in conventional ambulances.Ítem Acceso abierto The efficacy of telemedicine in improving emergency services(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-08) Collazos Flores, Cecil Lucyana; Torres La Rosa, Karen Rocío; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerEvidence shows that telemedicine is effective in improving emergency services since health care is provided in a timely manner in emergency situations, there is a decrease in hospitalizations, efficient patient monitoring is carried out, other benefits are decreased costs and decreased hospital transfers and readmissions, reducing mortality and improving quality of life and costs. 10% of the articles reviewed disagree as they state that telemedicine is not effective because their results did not find a significant relationship between the cost-effectiveness of its use. Los profesionales de salud que perciben que la Telemedicina mejora su labor y la hace más eficiente, que les represente hacer un menor esfuerzo y perciban apoyo técnico de la institución, tienen más probabilidad de usar el sistema de Telemedicina del Hospital Santa Rosa.Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of care and user satisfaction in telehealth for growth and development monitoring during the pandemic, Armed Forces Hospital, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-11) Figueroa Manrique, Berenice Alexandra; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioThe general objective of this academic work is to determine the relationship between quality of care and user satisfaction in telehealth to control growth and development in a pandemic in an Armed Forces hospital during the year 2022. The research will be developed with a quantitative approach. , the hypothetical-deductive methodology, of applied type, non-experimental design and level of cross-sectional correlational research that will allow observing the existing association between two or more variables. It seeks to obtain an average sample of 80 users, parents of children under 5 years of age who will receive attention on growth and development; To collect data, 02 instruments will be applied, one for each variable through the SERVQUAL questionnaire, which was adapted by Ruiz C.
