Telemedicine care has been progressively incorporated into healthcare services and has allowed for the continued monitoring of patients requiring rehabilitation. However, its acceptance depends not only on the service's availability but also on how the patient perceives the safety of the care and their level of satisfaction with the experience. In the field of rehabilitation, this relationship has been little explored from the user's perspective. Objective: To determine the relationship between perceived safety and satisfaction with telemedicine among patients treated at the Callao Rehabilitation Hospital during 2026. Materials and Methods: An applied, quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional study was conducted. Participants were adult patients treated via telemedicine in the Department of Specialized Therapies. Perceived safety was assessed using the Perceived Safety Scale (ESP16), and satisfaction with telemedicine was assessed using the adapted short version of the Telemedicine Satisfaction and Usefulness Questionnaire (TSUQ). Participants were selected using simple random probability sampling. Results: A strong, significant, and positive relationship was found between perceived safety and satisfaction with telemedicine (Spearman's rho = 0.621; p < 0.001). Conclusions: A significant, positive, and robust association was identified between perceived safety and satisfaction with telemedicine among patients at the Callao Rehabilitation Hospital, confirming the relevance of both variables in the remote care experience.
