In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, we found that 30% (03) correspond to the United States, with 20% (02) in Holland, while with 10% (01) we find England, Iran, Norway, Australia and Iceland respectively. Among the systemic reviews we find the countries of the United States, Norway, England and Iran, which account for 40% of the studies carried out, also with 20% we have prospective studies belonging to Australia and Holland, 20% of retrospective studies carried out in the US and the Netherlands, 10% corresponds to a US randomized controlled trial. Results: Of the 10 articles found, 6 of them mention that one of the first most frequent complications are pressure ulcers, followed by 2 articles that tell us that there is an increase in intracranial pressure caused by excessive adjustment of the cervical collar and 2 articles where the authors agree with the presence of pressure ulcers and increased intracranial pressure. In this way we were able to confirm that there are complications from the use of the cervical collar in traumatized patients who require immobilization. The authors confirm that pressure ulcers are due to the patient's skin type and the length of time the collar is worn. Conclusions: Of the total number of articles analyzed, 100% confirm that the use of the cervical collar produces compilations such as pressure ulcers at primary and secondary level, jugular venous pressure and tissue interface pressure in traumatized patients requiring immobilization.Ítem Acceso abierto Determining factors of anemia in 6-month-old infants who attend the growth and development clinic at the Viña San Francisco health post, Santa Anita district, Lima 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-20) Villamar Arce, Sheila Yallily; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoIntroduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) states that anemia affects around 800 million children and women in the world. In Peru, iron deficiency anemia is a serious public health problem affecting 46.6% of children. children at very early ages between 6 months and the first year of life, this situation being the same as that observed in the growth and development clinic of the Viña San Francisco health facility in the Santa Anita district, where the percentage of Anemia in 6-month-old infants reaches 39.8%, a figure that remains high in the first half of 2019 despite the health intervention strategies carried out to reduce cases of anemia in the target population. Objective: Describe the determining factors of anemia in 6-month-old infants. Method: The study has a quantitative approach, descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective, presenting a single main variable, the techniques used were documentary analysis and the interview and the instruments used were the monitoring sheet and the questionnaire applied to the mothers of 6-month-old infants with anemia, the population being the total number of infants, which was 27, constituting a census. Results: During the study period, it was identified that, of the total number of infants with anemia, 70.3% had mild anemia, 25.9% had moderate anemia and 3.7% had severe anemia, with the female sex prevailing with 59.2%. Regarding the determining factors of anemia, present: 25.9% of mothers had a history of anemia during pregnancy, it was identified that 85.1% of infants received iron supplementation at the health facility with timely initiation of the supplement and of them 51.7% consumed it in less than 2 months and 56.5% did not consume it daily, with poor adherence to prophylactic treatment. Regarding the type of feeding, 51.8% of the infants did not receive exclusive breastfeeding, its varieties being mixed, artificial breastfeeding and consumption of cow's milk. 1 infant with a history of prematurity and 2 infants with low birth weight were identified; however, none received prophylactic iron supplementation. 55.5% of infants had their complete vaccination for their age, 70.3% of infants did not have complete growth and development controls for their age. In relation to prevalent diseases, 44.4% of infants with anemia presented diarrheal disease and respiratory infections and of them 3 infants were hospitalized. It has been identified that more than 70% of mothers of infants are unaware of the consequences of anemia during pregnancy, the irreversible effects suffered by the child with anemia in their adult life and the areas of psychomotor development that are affected in the child. with anemia. Conclusions: From the results obtained, it is concluded that the majority of infants in the study had mild or slight anemia, with a predominance of the female sex. A good percentage of the infants began iron supplementation in a timely manner at the health facility. However, More than half of them did not comply with the treatment on a regular basis, identifying difficulties in adherence to treatment. Likewise, infants with a history of prematurity and low birth weight were found who did not receive supplementation despite being infants with a risk factor for anemia, it was found that half of the infants with anemia did not receive exclusive breastfeeding until 6 months, being essential for the prevention of the disease, there is non-compliance with the vaccination schedule and growth and development controls in the infants under study, conditioning the risk of suffering from prevalent diseases such as diarrhea and respiratory infections, as is the case, and at the same time losing the possibility of receiving growth controls and timely nutritional evaluation, it has also been identified that most of mothers interviewed, are unaware of the consequences of anemia in children, which could lead to non-compliance with basic nutritional care in the infant by parents from conception.Ítem Acceso abierto Effective strategies to strengthen growth and development in children(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Pereyra Campos, Cynthia Karin; Krederdt Araujo, Sherin LuzObjective: Systematize the best evidence in already completed research; That is, to what extent the research found adds new knowledge to the central question. Material and methods: Information was collected from different articles according to the level of evidence and degree of recommendation. Thus, descriptive and correlational studies were selected. Results: The factors that intervene in the non-attendance of the CRED control of the boy and girl, the mothers and/or caregivers report that the nursing staff is insufficient and they have difficulties with the hours of care, with the waiting time, diversity of tasks of the home. Conclusions: It is detailed that in the range of 4 to 8%, fathers, mothers, caregivers have difficulties taking their children to the CRED due to work schedules, leaving their children in the care of minors, due to ignorance of the importance of the CRED, generating a significant gap between the children who attend the CRED and those who do not attend, which could be decisive, so that the children do not reach optimal development, causing them to be limited in their cognitive development and school performance, limiting their possibilities to access other levels of education, and with low economic productivity when they reach the adult stage of life. This is why it is essential to generate effective strategies to strengthen the growth and development of children; it is necessary to involve the person, family and community in this context, to preserve family health in the population.Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of changing the peripheral venous catheter in the prevention of phlebitis(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Cachi Sanchez, Bertha Elizabeth; Sanches Huisa, Mirian Marcela; Mendigure Fernández, JulioObjective: Systematize the available evidence on the effectiveness of changing the peripheral venous catheter for the prevention of phlebitis. Methodology: The study carried out is a Systematic Review of 10 articles in the LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE, and PUBMED databases, whose search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using the Jover's evaluation to identify its level of evidence. Results: In the review of the Articles, the effectiveness of changing the peripheral venous catheter to prevent phlebitis is observed; However, in the latest studies carried out, the permanence time of peripheral devices does not show the cause of the origin of vascular complications such as phlebitis, in relation to the systematic change and replacement due to clinical indication in adult patients with intravenous treatment. Conclusion: The evidence shows that to prevent phlebitis in hospitalized patients, changing the peripheral venous catheter does not necessarily require routine change every 72 hours, but rather when clinically indicated. Most of the studies reviewed provide input to the nursing professional and health institutions shared benefits. patient safety, reduction in procedures and time in care and reduction in costsÍtem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of Continuous Versus Intermittent Enteral Nutrition in Intensive Care Patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Bardales Rengifo, Augusto Daicoro; Manrique Aliaga, Lizzette Milagros; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: Determine the effectiveness of continuous versus intermittent enteral nutrition in intensive care patients.
