Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and attitudes towards educational strategies on potentially dangerous oral disorders in dentistry students at the Norbert Wiener Private University in Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-12) Romero Balbin, Jessyca; Gómez Carrión, Christian EstebanThe objective of this study was to determine the knowledge and attitudes of dental students regarding educational strategies on potentially dangerous oral disorders. The research adopted a quantitative approach, using a descriptive design and a cross-sectional method, with a sample consisting of 178 dental students. The results revealed that 36% of students showed a medium level of knowledge and a positive attitude toward educational strategies on potentially dangerous oral disorders. On the other hand, 64% of students had a high level of knowledge and a positive attitude toward these strategies. Regarding specific knowledge about potentially dangerous oral disorders, 85.4% of students reached a medium level of knowledge, while only 14.6% had a high level of knowledge. In terms of attitudes, 68% showed a positive attitude toward educational strategies, while 32% demonstrated a negative attitude. In conclusion, this study shows that a significant percentage of students have a high level of knowledge and a positive attitude, suggesting that the educational strategies implemented are having a positive impact on their training
