Vahl) Handlos “7 vidas” in mice. The plant species was collected in the district of Pangoa, Satipo Province, Junín Department, at 628 meters above sea level. The stems of Tripogandra serrulata (M. Vahl) Handlos “7 vidas” were macerated to obtain a homogeneous plant sample. Phytochemical analysis was performed, and creams based on the hydroalcoholic extract of the stems of Tripogandra serrulata (M. Vahl) Handlos “7 vidas” were prepared in various concentrations (5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%), which were used for pharmacological investigation through the method described by Vaisberg et al. (1989) in induced lesions. A total of 56 albino mice of the Mus musculus Balb/C53 strain, of both sexes, were distributed into seven groups. The most effective treatment among the creams prepared with the hydroalcoholic extract was found to be the 15% concentration. It was concluded that the hydroalcoholic extract of Tripogandra serrulata (M. Vahl) Handlos “7 vidas” possesses healing activity.
