The use of virtual environments (EVA) encourages student participation; providing valuable information; allowing the development of competences under the teacher's guide, focusing the student as the protagonist of his educational process. The question arises how PE is carried out from virtual environments in a university educational institution. The main objective: to analyze how formative evaluation practices are, applied by teachers from virtual environments in higher education at a private university in metropolitan Lima. A qualitative, inductive, and phenomenological investigation was carried out. A semi-structured interview was carried out with seven teachers who use EVA. It was found that applying EF favors the teaching-learning process, especially when the student receives adequate feedback. It is necessary to apply various strategies to carry out PE, the most used from virtual environments were peer evaluation, hetero evaluation, diagnostic evaluation, development evaluation, final evaluation and internal evaluation. The most used EVAs were zoom, Meet and YouTube and Classroom. It was concluded that the use of EF in the EVA was a challenging experience for the teachers, who knew how to recognize the advantages that the EVA offers. Likewise, performing PE requires continuous preparation and training from teachers. They point to technology as an ally but mention the limited time available as a factor that must be improved.Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados que influyen en la motivación de los estudiantes de posgrado en una universidad peruana, lima- 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-20) Secada Fischer, Judith Carmen; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadThe research entitled associated factors that influence the motivation of graduate students in a Peruvian university, Lima - 2020, had as a general objective to determine how the associated factors influence the motivation of graduate students in a Peruvian university, Lima - 2020. The study was of a non-experimental design of correlational scope, cross-sectional, applied type and hypothetical deductive method. The population consisted of 480 and the sample of 80 graduate students at a Peruvian university in Lima, during the year 2020. Data collection was carried out through the survey technique and two questionnaires were used as instruments, one for evaluate the associated factors and another to evaluate motivation, with a high degree of reliability each. Statistical analysis was performed with the SPSS-25 statistical software. For hypothesis testing, the Ordinal Logistic Regression test was used; the results determined a significant influence (p = 0.018 <0.05) of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The study concluded that the associated factors significantly influence the motivation of graduate students at a Peruvian university, Lima – 2020.Publicación Acceso abierto Influencia de la educación sexual en el logro de competencias en estudiantes de una Universidad Privada de Lima-2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-31) Perea Briceño, José Anthony; Ramos Vera, Rosario PilarThe influence of sexual education on young people who develop skills in their university education based on their current knowledge and which they add during personal development, has shown that the social, psychological and biological environment has a level of influence related to the achievement of competencies as university students. The objective of this research was to “Determine the influence of sexual education on the achievement of competencies in students of a private university in Lima” had a quantitative approach, hypothetical deductive research method, applied type, non-experimental design, causal correlational level, cross section, the population was 10,222 and its sample was 370 students from the I, II, III and IV cycle of general studies at a private university. The survey technique was used and the questionnaire was applied in person, 24 items on sexual education and 28 items on achievement of competence. The construct validity of both instruments with the Kaiser Meyer and Olkin value and Bartlett's sphericity was 0.710 and 0.952 and the significance level of Bartlett's sphericity was p=0.000, which indicates that both instruments were valid and can be applied. As it is a study at a causal correlational level, it will be tested using the coefficient of determination, p=0.009<0.05, so it is decided to accept the alternative hypothesis and the R2 Nagelkerke is 0.082, which indicates that the sexual education variable influences 8.2 %. in the achievement of competencies in students of a private university in Lima.Publicación Acceso abierto Método Polya y su influencia en el desarrollo de la competencia resuelve problemas de geometría descriptiva en estudiantes de ingeniería de una universidad nacional, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-23) Ramírez Morales, Fausto David; Ramos Vera, Rosario PilarThe research objective of the study was to evaluate to what extent the application of the Polya Method influences the development of descriptive geometry problem-solving competence in engineering students of a national university, 2023. To achieve this, an applied quantitative approach methodology was used, employing both an experimental design and a quasiexperimental sub design. The study sample consisted of a total of 15 students in the experimental group, who were supervised by the main researcher, and the participation of another 15 students in the control group, who were assigned to another teacher. As a measurement instrument, a written questionnaire was used, designed to evaluate the application of the different phases of the Polya Method. The results indicate that the t-value was 3.651 being greater than the corresponding critical value for a significance level less than 0.001, therefore, the alternative hypothesis is accepted, and the null hypothesis is rejected, affirming that the method influences the development of the competence to solve descriptive geometry problems. Concluding that the application of the Polya Method influences the development of the competence to solve descriptive geometry problems.Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de actividad física y engagement académico en estudiantes de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-20) Mayo Del Alamo, Julio Guillermo; Vásquez Tomás, Melba RitaCurrently; As one assumes more responsibilities, one becomes a more sedentary being, causing a great problem since the lack of physical activity affects not only physical and psychological health but also the academic quality and the commitment that one makes in the process of college life.
