Efecto de las movilizaciones articulares en la discapacidad y dolor de pacientes que padecen cervicalgia inespecífica en un centro de fisioterapia del Agustino, 2025

Abstract

La cervicalgia viene a ser un dolor situado en la región posterior del cuello, el cual puede presentar irradiación hacia al tronco, cabeza, o miembros superiores, cursa con una intensidad de dolor variable en tiempo pudiendo repetirse los episodios en el transcurso de la vida, en la actualidad existen muchos tratamientos de fisioterapia que generalmente se centran en el dolor. En razón de ello el objetivo de la investigación será establecer el efecto de las movilizaciones articulares en la discapacidad y dolor de pacientes que padecen cervicalgia inespecífica atendidos en un centro de fisioterapia del Agustino, 2025. Este estudio será de enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño experimental de tipo cuasi experimental, con una población de 40 pacientes entre 20 a 60 años a los cuales se les aplicará el instrumento validado NDI y EVA.

Cervicalgia is pain located in the posterior region of the neck, which may radiate to the trunk, head, or upper limbs. It presents with a variable intensity of pain over time, and episodes may recur throughout life. Currently, there are many physiotherapy treatments that generally focus on pain. Therefore, the objective of this research is to establish the effect of joint mobilizations on the disability and pain of patients suffering from nonspecific cervicalgia treated at a physiotherapy center in El Agustino, 2025. This study will have a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, with a population of 40 patients between 20 and 60 years of age, to whom the validated NDI and VAS instruments will be applied.
