Capacidad funcional y riesgo de caídas en los adultos mayores de un centro geriátrico privado, 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Establecer la conexión entre la funcionalidad física y la probabilidad de caídas en adultos mayores. Metodología: se trabajara bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, el nivel correlacional, con un diseño que es no experimental para una investigación de tipo aplicada. Población: Se considerará a 80 adultos mayores de un Centro Geriátrico Privado, 2024. La encuesta y el cuestionario serán los instrumentos del estudio, validados y confiables se utilizará para medir la “capacidad funcional”, el Índice de Barthel y para medir las “riesgo de caídas”, la escala de Downton). Luego de la recolección de datos se desarrollara en el programa Excel la base de datos la cual será analizada por el programa SPSS 25.0 de manera descriptiva para establecer tablas y gráficos de los resultados de las variables y de manera inferencial a través de la prueba de Rho de Spearman para la comprobación de las hipótesis.

Methodology: work will be done under a quantitative approach, the correlational level, with a design that is non-experimental for applied research. Population: 80 older adults from a Private Geriatric Center will be considered, 2024. The survey and questionnaire will be the instruments of the study, validated and reliable. After data collection, the database will be developed in the Excel program, which will be analyzed by the SPSS 25.0 program in a descriptive way to establish tables and graphs of the results of the variables and inferentially through Spearman's Rho test for the testing of the hypotheses.
