Incapacidad funcional por dolor lumbar y acortamiento de los flexores de cadera en pacientes del centro de terapia física y rehabilitación Fisiodell, Lima 2024

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Incapacidad funcional por dolor Lumbar y acortamiento de los flexores de cadera en pacientes del centro de terapia física y rehabilitación Fisiodell, Lima 2024”. El objetivo principal fue determinar la relación entre incapacidad funcional por dolor lumbar y acortamiento de los flexores de cadera en pacientes del centro de terapia física y rehabilitación Fisiodell, Lima 2024. El material y método de estudio empleado fue de tipo de investigación aplicada de alcance hipotético – deductivo; diseño no experimental, correlacional y transversal; de enfoque cuantitativo; la población estuvo conformada por 112 pacientes diagnosticados con Lumbalgia que acudieron al centro de terapia física y rehabilitación Fisiodell, Lima 2024; se elaboró un formulario de recolección de datos sociodemográficos vinculados a edad, sexo, grado de instrucción y ocupación; Se utilizó la escala de incapacidad por dolor lumbar de Oswestry, además se realizó modificaciones con el fin de lograr nuestros objetivos el cual fue validado por tres especialistas; por último mediante la observación evaluamos la presencia o ausencia de acortamiento de los flexores de cadera mediante el test de Thomas Modificado. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que la mayoría de pacientes tenían 38 años de edad, con mayor porcentaje el género femenino con un 61,7% mientras que el masculino 38,3%, el grado de instrucción en gran mayoría fue secundaria con 42,5% y la ocupación más frecuente otros con 37,5%. En cuanto a la incapacidad funcional por dolor lumbar y acortamiento de los flexores de cadera se encontró correlación Rho Spearman de 0,521 relación positiva moderada. Por lo tanto, en conclusión, se observa relación entre las variables de estudio.

The present research work entitled "Functional disability due to low back pain and shortening of the hip flexors in patients of the Fisiodell physical therapy and rehabilitation center, Lima 2024". the main objective determine the relationship between functional disability due to low back pain and shortening of the hip flexors in patients at the Fisiodell physical therapy and rehabilitation center, Lima 2024. The material and study method used was of the type of applied research of hypothetical – deductive scope; non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional design; of quantitative approach; the population was made up of 112 patients diagnosed with Low Back Pain who attended the Fisiodell physical therapy and rehabilitation center, Lima 2024; a form was developed for the collection of sociodemographic data related to age, sex, level of education and occupation; The Oswestry Disability Scale for Low Back Pain was used, and a modification was made to in order to achieve our objectives, which was validated by three specialists; finally, through observation, we evaluated the presence or absence of hip flexor shortening using the Modified Thomas test. The results obtained show that the majority of patients were 38 years old, with a higher percentage of women with 61.7% while men 38.3%, the degree of education was mostly secondary with 42.5% and the most frequent occupation others with 37.5%. Regarding functional disability due to low back pain and shortening of the hip flexors, a Rho Spearman correlation of 0.521 was found, with a moderate positive relationship. Therefore, in conclusion, a relationship is observed between the study variable.
