Resumen
En el tratamiento del niño con parálisis cerebral el cuidador tiene un rol importante ya que es la persona que estará el mayor tiempo junto a él, así como es el soporte ante las limitaciones que puede tener para realizar ciertas actividades, esto conllevara a un desgaste físico y emocional en el cuidador, por lo tanto en este estudio se busca establecer la relación entre el nivel de la función motora gruesa y la sobrecarga en sus cuidadores, pudiendo deducir la necesidad de implementar o rediseñar un programa de abordaje integral en el paciente en la cual no solo se centre en el niño con parálisis cerebral sino también en su cuidador.
Resumen
The caregiver plays a vital role in the treatment of a child with cerebral palsy, as they are the person who spends the most time with the child and provides support regarding the limitations the child may face in performing certain activities. This role inevitably leads to physical and emotional strain on the caregiver; therefore, this study aims to establish the relationship between the child's gross motor function level and caregiver burden, thereby highlighting the need to implement or redesign a comprehensive care program that focuses not only on the child with cerebral palsy but also on their caregiver.
