Manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional con relación al empleo de plantas medicinales en población adulta mayores de 25 años en mercado Real Plaza Vitarte Apromec 2024-2025

Abstract

El objetivo fue analizar la relación de las manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional con el empleo de plantas medicinales en población adulta mayores de 25 años en Mercado Real Plaza Vitarte APROMEC 2024-2025. Métodos. El enfoque fue cuantitativo, corte transversal, método hipotético deductivo, tipo básico, diseño no experimental, la muestra lo conformaron 155 personas adultas, el muestreo fue probabilístico aleatorio sistemático, la recolección de datos se realizó mediante un cuestionario. Resultados. El 41,9% tenían edad entre 26-40 años, 54,8% estaban en sobrepeso u obeso; en manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional el 72,9% fue moderado, 16,8% leve y 10,3% severo, en síntomas 25,2% tuvo llenura después de las comidas, 41,3% saciedad precoz, 32,9% meteorismo, 27,1% eructos, 25,8% dolor epigástrico, 35,5% ardor epigástrico, 34,8% sensación de acidez en la epiglotis, 36,1% dificultad para tragar, 18,1% dolor intestinal, 28,4% sensación de hinchazón intestinal. En empleo de plantas medicinales el 47,1% usaban la manzanilla, 18,1% el romero, 27,1% el anís, 9,7% el hinojo y 32,9% la menta; 14,8% empleaban las semillas, 56,8% las hojas, 25,2% las flores, 59,4% preparaba infusiones, 10,3% preparaban cocimiento y 12,9% tintura. Hubo diferencia significativa moderada (p=0,000; rho=0,591) entre las manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional con el empleo de plantas medicinales. Conclusión. Existe relación significativa positiva moderada entre las manifestaciones de dispepsia funcional con el empleo de plantas medicinales en población adulta mayores de 25 en distrito de Ate Vitarte.

The objective was to analyze the relationship between the manifestations of functional dyspepsia and the use of medicinal plants in the adult population over 25 years of age in Mercado Real Plaza Vitarte APROMEC 2024-2025. Methods. The approach was quantitative, cross sectional, hypothetical-deductive method, basic type, non-experimental design, the sample consisted of 155 adults, the sampling was systematic random probabilistic, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Results. 41.9% were between 26-40 years old, 54.8% were overweight or obese; In manifestations of functional dyspepsia, 72.9% were moderate, 16.8% mild and 10.3% severe; in symptoms, 25.2% had fullness after meals, 41.3% early satiety, 32.9% flatulence, 27.1% belching, 25.8% epigastric pain, 35.5% epigastric burning, 34.8% sensation of acidity in the epiglottis, 36.1% difficulty swallowing, 18.1% intestinal pain, 28.4% sensation of intestinal bloating. In the use of medicinal plants, 47.1% used chamomiles, 18.1% rosemary, 27.1% anise, 9.7% fennel and 32.9% mint; 14.8% used the seeds, 56.8% the leaves, 25.2% the flowers, 59.4% prepared infusions, 10.3% prepared decoctions and 12.9% prepared tinctures. There was a moderate significant difference (p = 0.000; rho = 0.591) between the manifestations of functional dyspepsia and the use of medicinal plants. Conclusion. There is a moderate positive significant relationship between the manifestations of functional dyspepsia and the use of medicinal plants in the adult population over 25 years of age in the district of Ate Vitarte.
