Afrontamiento y resiliencia del enfermero ante la muerte del paciente en el Servicio de Oncología del IREN Centro, Junín, 2026

Abstract

El presente estudio plantea el objetivo de "determinar la relación entre el afrontamiento y la resiliencia del profesional de enfermería ante la muerte del paciente oncológico en el IREN Centro, Junín, durante el año 2026”. El estudio será cuantitativo, no experimental de corte transversal, correlacional y de tipo básico. La población será de 120 licenciados en enfermería que laboran en el servicio de oncología del hospital, y se utilizará una muestra censal. Los datos se recopilarán utilizando dos instrumentos: la Escala Bugen de Afrontamiento de la muerte y la Escala de Resiliencia Connor–Davidson (CD-RISC 10), previa verificación de validez y confiabilidad. El análisis se realizará con estadística descriptiva y las hipótesis se evaluarán a través de la prueba de normalidad de Shapiro–Wilk y correlación de Pearson o Spearman, con un umbral de significación de p < 0,05, utilizando software estadístico SPSS y Excel. Se espera identificar el tipo y nivel de asociación entre ambas variables, de modo que los hallazgos sustenten estrategias de soporte psicoemocional y fortalecimiento de habilidades de afrontamiento y resiliencia en enfermería oncológica.

The present study aims to “determine the relationship between coping and resilience among nursing professionals when faced with the death of cancer patients at the IREN Center in Junín during the year 2026.” The study will be quantitative, unexperimental, crossover, correlational, type basic. It will include 120 registered nurses employed in the hospital's oncology department, and a census sample will be used. Data will be collected using two instruments: the Bugen Scale of Coping with Death and the Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC 10), after verification of validity and reliability. The analysis will be performed using descriptive statistics, and the hypotheses are evaluated with the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and Pearson or Spearman correlation, with a significance threshold of p < 0.05, using SPSS and Excel statistical software. The aim is to identify the type and level of association between the two variables, so that the findings can inform strategies for psycho-emotional support and the strengthening of coping and resilience skills in oncology nursing.
