Nivel de actividad física y capacidad funcional en pacientes post COVID – 19 en la Clínica San Pablo 2022

Abstract

El sedentarismo ha aumentado a nivel mundial, especialmente tras la pandemia de COVID-19, lo que ha generado múltiples secuelas, incluyendo problemas respiratorios y reducción de la capacidad funcional. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de actividad física y la capacidad funcional en pacientes post-COVID- Se aplicará un estudio cuantitativo con un método de investigación hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo y con tipo de investigación Aplicado – práctica, el diseño de la investigación descriptivo – correlacional, utilizando los test IPAQ y PC6M para medir actividad física y capacidad funcional, respectivamente. Los resultados permitirán establecer estrategias para mejorar la salud de los pacientes afectados.

Sedentary lifestyles have increased worldwide, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to multiple consequences, including respiratory problems and reduced functional capacity. This research aims to determine the relationship between physical activity levels and functional capacity in post-COVID patients. A quantitative study will be conducted using a hypothetico-deductive research method, with a quantitative approach and an applied-practical research design. The research design will be descriptive-correlational, using the IPAQ and PC6M tests to measure physical activity and functional capacity, respectively. The results will allow for the development of strategies to improve the health of affected patients.
