Determinación de la hormona gonadotropina coriónica humana en manchas secas de sangre para la aplicación en la escena del delito - Distrito Fiscal de Ica 2020-2021

Abstract

Después de la implantación del óvulo fecundado, comienza a producirse gonadotropina coriónica humana (HCG) en grandes cantidades, y se diseñan una serie de pruebas de laboratorio para el diagnóstico clínico; en el campo de la criminología, existen un gran número de casos de delitos contra mujeres embarazadas, y las escenas del crimen también quedan manchas de sangre; el propósito de este estudio fue determinar la permanencia de la hormona gonadotropina coriónica humana en manchas secas de sangre de mujeres embarazadas dejadas en la escena del crimen, se recolectaron 22 muestras de sangre venosa de mujeres embarazadas y se colocaron soportes de tela de algodón para manchas de sangre extraídas de estas muestras. En lugar de tinciones que se dejaron secar en el ambiente durante tres meses, se midieron las hormonas de estas tinciones mediante método cualitativo inmunocromatográfico y un método cuantitativo ELISA. El resultado fue que el 100% de las manchas de sangre dieron positivo para la hormona HCG. Finalmente se concluyó que la HCG se mantuvo sin cambios en las manchas de sangre seca de mujeres embarazadas, además, hubo diferencias en la determinación hormonal entre el método cualitativo por inmunocromatográfica y el método cuantitativo por ELISA, la sensibilidad y especificidad de ambos métodos en las muestras de prueba fueron 100%; Se recomienda implementar pruebas de HCG en el campo forense.

Finally, it was concluded that HCG remains unchanged in dried blood stains from pregnant women; In addition, no differences were found in the determination of the hormone, between the qualitative method by immunochromatography and the quantitative method by ELISA, with both methods a sensitivity and specificity of 100% was found in the samples tested; it is recommended that the HCG dry spot test be implemented in the forensic field.
