Factores de riesgo asociados a la infección por VPH en mujeres de 30 a 49 años atendidas en el centro de salud Conde de la Vega Baja, 2023

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar los factores asociados a la infección por VPH en mujeres de 30 a 49 años atendidas en el Centro De Salud Conde de la Vega Baja, Lima 2024. Metodológicamente, el estudio tuvo un diseño observacional, de tipo retrospectivo, nivel correlacional, considerando una muestra de 130 historias clínicas de mujeres a las que se le aplicó una prueba de VPH, atendidas en el referido establecimiento, cuyos datos se recogieron con ayuda de una ficha de recolección conformada por 13 ítems elaborada por la autora específicamente para esta investigación. Los resultados evidenciaron que el 16,9% de mujeres (n=22) presentó resultado positivo para la prueba de VPH. Los factores sociodemográficos que alcanzaron valor significativo fueron el grupo etario (p=0,019), el grado de instrucción (p=0,013) y el tipo de seguro (p=0,043); los factores obstétricos con valor significativo fueron la edad de inicio de relaciones sexuales (p=0,016), el número de parejas sexuales (p=0,001) y el antecedente de ITS (p=0,012); y de los factores personales, sólo alcanzó valor significativo el hábito de fumar (p=0,003). Se concluye que existen factores sociodemográficos, personales y obstétricos asociados significativamente a la infección por VPH en mujeres de 30 a 49 años.

The objective of this study is to analyze the factors associated with HPV infection in women aged 30 to 49 years treated at the Conde de la Vega Baja Health Center, Lima 2024. Methodologically, the study had an observational design, retrospective, correlational level, considering a sample of 130 medical records of women who underwent an HPV test, treated at the aforementioned establishment, whose data were collected with the help of a collection form made up of 13 items prepared by the author specifically for this research. The results showed that 16.9% of women (n = 22) had a positive result for the HPV test. The sociodemographic factors that reached a significant value were the age group (p = 0.019), the level of education (p = 0.013) and the type of insurance (p = 0.043); The obstetric factors with significant value were the age of initiation of sexual relations (p=0.016), the number of sexual partners (p=0.001) and the history of STIs (p=0.012); and of the personal factors, only the smoking habit reached a significant value (p=0.003). It is concluded that there are sociodemographic, personal and obstetric factors significantly associated with HPV infection in women aged 30 to 49 years.
