Introducción: La lesión por presión es un dilema en salud pública y de alto impacto a nivel mundial; uno de los problemas más habituales en pacientes con movilidad disminuida o nula. Las LPP causan dolor, pesar y a veces pueden poner en riesgo la vida del paciente: trae consigo gran impacto económico en las Instituciones prestadoras de salud. El conocimiento y la pràctica del personal de enfermería son las armas de gran importancia para evitar esta carga en pacientes con movilidad reducida o nula. El objetivo de este estudio “Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica en el manejo de lesiones por presión en el adulto mayor atendido por el personal de enfermería del servicio de medicina en el hospital Gustavo Lanatta Lujan EsSalud - Huacho, 2024”. Metodología: El trabajo de investigación será hipotético deductivo, correlacional, cuantitativo, no experimental, de corte trasversal. La población de análisis estará constituida por 82 personal de enfermería que labora en el servicio de medicina en el hospital Gustavo Lanatta Lujan EsSalud - Huacho, 2024. Muestreo aleatorio simple, hasta completar el tamaño de la muestra se recolectara información. . Dos instrumentos, el cuestionario 1 variable conocimiento y el cuestionario 2 variable práctica. Con el objetivo de ordenar y clasificar los datos recabados, estos serán ingresados en Excel, se exporta al software SPSS V.27, utilizando como guía el valor (P= <0 >005), utilizara la correlación de Spearman, establecer la relación entre variables.
Resumen
Introduction: Pressure injuries are a public health dilemma with high impact worldwide; one of the most common problems in patients with reduced or no mobility. LPP cause pain, sorrow and can sometimes put the patient's life at risk: it brings with it a great economic impact on health-providing institutions. The knowledge and practice of nursing staff are the weapons of great importance to avoid this burden in patients with reduced or no mobility. The objective of this study “To determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and practice in the management of pressure injuries in the elderly attended by the nursing staff of the medicine service at the Gustavo Lanatta Lujan EsSalud hospital - Huacho, 2024”. Methodology: The research work will be hypothetical, deductive, correlational, quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional. The analysis population will consist of 82 nursing personnel who work in the medicine service at the Gustavo Lanatta Lujan EsSalud hospital - Huacho, 2024. With non probalist sampling according to convenience criteria. Two instruments, questionnaire 1 knowledge variable and questionnaire 2 practical variable. With the objective of ordering and classifying the data collected, these will be entered into Excel, exported to the SPSS V.27 software, using the value (P= <0 >005) as a guide, using the Spearman correlation, establishing the relationship between variables.
