Efectividad de las guías de enseñanza en el aprendizaje del vocabulario del idioma inglés en los estudiantes de grado sexto de la Institución Educativa Técnica San José del municipio de Fresno-Tolima año 2016

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia de las guías de enseñanza en el aprendizaje del vocabulario del idioma inglés en estudiantes de grado sexto de la Institución Educativa Técnica. San José del Municipio de Fresno-Tolima. El tipo de investigación es aplicada, pues tiene como propósito analizar y sustentar el uso de las guías de enseñanza experimentando con base en una estrategia en donde el grupo control se diferencia de un grupo experimental en cuanto a los aprendizajes del vocabulario de inglés. El diseño utilizado en la investigación es cuasi-experimental de tipo longitudinal - panel y el tipo de investigación es descriptivoexplicativo. Esta investigación se llevará a cabo través del diseño de cuatro guías de aprendizaje fundamentadas en cuatro temas de vocabulario básico con los estudiantes de grado 6-1 grupo control (Metodología Tradicional) y de 6-2 grupo experimental (Receptores de la estrategia). A los cuales se aplicó un Pre-test y un Pos-test basados en guías de aprendizaje según los parámetros del ICFES con el fin de evaluar estas actividades como estrategia para el desarrollo de las competencias del inglés. Se realizó un análisis cuantitativo entre los grupos. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que esta es una estrategia que mejora el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje del vocabulario y a la vez facilita el desarrollo de las competencias en el área de inglés. La población objeto de estudio está conformada por los grados 6-1 y 6-2 calendario escolar 2016 con un total de 63 estudiantes de los cuales al aplicar una muestra probabilística nos arroja un total de 54 estudiantes.

The present research aims to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of teaching guides for the learning of English vocabulary in sixth grade students of the Technical Education Institution influences San José of the Municipality of FresnoTolima. The objective of this research is to determine the influence of the teaching guides in the learning of the English language vocabulary on sixth grade students of the Technical Educational Institution. San José of the Municipality of Fresno-Tolima. The type of research is applied, since its purpose is to analyze and sustain the use of teaching guides by experimenting based on a strategy where the control group differs from an experimental group in terms of English vocabulary learning. The design used in the research is quasi-experimental of the longitudinal-panel type and the type of research is descriptive-explanatory. This research will be carried out through the design of four learning guides based on four basic vocabulary topics with students grade 6-1 control group (Traditional Methodology) and 6-2 experimental group (Receivers strategy) San José Educational Institution of the municipality of Fresno – Tolima, to which a pre-test and a post-test were applied based on learning guides according to ICFES parameters in order to evaluate these activities as a strategy for the development of English skills. A quantitative analysis was performed between the experimental group and the control group. The obtained results indicated that the learning guides are a strategy that improves the teaching - learning process of the vocabulary and at the same time facilitates the development of the competences in the English area. The population under study is conformed by grades 6-1 and 6-2 school calendar 2016 with a total of 63 students of which when applying a probabilistic sample throws us a total of 54 students.
