Abstract

Las enfermedades respiratorias crónicas, como el asma y la EPOC, representan un desafío significativo para la salud pública global. Según la OMS, estas enfermedades afectan a millones de personas y causan un gran número de muertes anuales. La evaluación de la función pulmonar es crucial para el manejo de estas enfermedades. La investigación busca analizar la relación entre el flujo pico espiratorio y la desaturación de oxígeno en pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias crónicas. El estudio empleará el método hipotético-deductivo, comparando las hipótesis con la realidad para obtener conclusiones. El material y métodos incluirán la medición del flujo pico espiratorio y la desaturación de oxígeno en pacientes con enfermedades respiratorias crónicas, con el objetivo de contribuir al entendimiento y manejo óptimo de estas condiciones clínicas.

Chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma and COPD, represent a significant challenge to global public health. According to the WHO, these diseases affect millions of people and cause a large number of deaths annually. The assessment of lung function is crucial for the management of these diseases. This research seeks to analyze the relationship between peak expiratory flow and oxygen desaturation in patients with chronic respiratory diseases. The study will employ the hypothetico-deductive method, comparing hypotheses with reality to draw conclusions. The material and methods will include the measurement of peak expiratory flow and oxygen desaturation in patients with chronic respiratory diseases, with the aim of contributing to the understanding and optimal management of these clinical conditions.
