Sobrecarga y calidad de vida de cuidadores de personas con cáncer en cuidados paliativos de un hospital de la región Tacna, 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio tendrá como objetivo identificar la relación existente entre la sobrecarga y la calidad de vida del cuidador de personas con cáncer en cuidados paliativos de un hospital de la región de Tacna, 2025. Para su realización se utilizará una metodología de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada y nivel correlacional de corte transversal, para lo cual se contará con la participación de todos los cuidadores de pacientes con cáncer que estén siendo atendidos por el servicio de oncología por cuidados paliativos y que cumplan con los criterios incluyentes. Para la recolección de datos se empleará la técnica de la encuesta, para lo cual se aplicará el instrumento de “percepción de carga del cuidador de Zarit” y el “Instrumento calidad de vida WHOQOLBREF”, los cuales tienen una validación y confiabilidad aceptables. Luego de aplicados estos instrumentos se procederá a identificar la relación entre estas dos variables mediante la utilización del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman.

The objective of this study is to identify the relationship between caregiver burden and quality of life among caregivers of cancer patients receiving palliative care at a hospital in the Tacna region in 2025. A quantitative, applied, cross-sectional correlational methodology will be used to conduct the study, involving all caregivers of cancer patients who are being treated by the palliative care oncology service and who meet the inclusion criteria. Data will be collected using a survey, employing the “Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale” and the “WHOQOL-BREF Quality of Life Instrument,” both of which have acceptable validity and reliability. After administering these instruments, the relationship between these two variables will be identified using Spearman’s correlation coefficient.
