Relación entre el riesgo de traumatismo maxilar dento alveolar y actividad militar del personal activo atendido en el hospital militar central, Lima Perú, 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio busco como objetivo conocer la relación entre el riesgo de traumatismo dentario y la actividad militar del personal activo. Fue un estudio relacional, prospectivo de corte transversal. La población se consideró 1750 historias clínicas del personal militar con traumatismo maxilar dentoalveolar que fue atendido en el servicio de odontología del Hospital Militar Central periodo 2019 al 2024, y una muestra de 342 historias clínicas. Se utilizó una ficha con datos como: grado, edad, sexo, año fiscal y tipo de traumatismo. Se aplicó una prueba de confiabilidad de Alpha de Crombach que dio un valor de 0.875. Los resultados hallaron que se aprecia la relación entre el riesgo de traumatismo maxilar dentoalveolar y actividad militar del personal activo, en mayoría respecto al traumatismo maxilar presentaron traumatismo Lefot I en personal de tropa en un 0.9%, en cuanto a traumatismo mandibular presentaron traumatismo del cuerpo mandibular y a nivel del ángulo mandibular en personal de tropa en un 1.2% respectivamente; sobre él. Concluyeron que se comprobó que existe relación entre el riesgo de traumatismo maxilar dentoalveolar y la actividad militar del personal activo, (p<0,05) siendo la tropa el grupo con mayor incidencia de lesiones debido a su mayor exposición en actividades operativas, entrenamientos y maniobras tácticas.
