Utilidad del foro virtual en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes de la Maestría de Docencia Universitaria de la Universidad Norbert Wiener en el año 2019

Abstract

Nuestro País tiene un logro educativo importante en estos últimos años, se ha dado una masificación en la educación superior (pre grado universitario) y en esa dirección caminan también los pos grados, sin embargo, dicha masificación tiene consecuencias negativas que traen consigo los egresados de dichos programas, los cuales, al no poseer ciertas cualidades adquiridas en sus estudios, son presa fácil del sub empleo o de no utilizar ni ejercer su profesión. El fenómeno del internet en nuestro país se hace cada vez más prevalente, su uso se extiende a todos los niveles de nuestra sociedad. El aprovechamiento de ésta tecnología en el área de la docencia universitaria, ha cogido un fuerte protagonismo, permitiendo al docente estratégicamente de manera didáctica y provechosa en el proceso enseñanzaaprendizaje, ya que incrementa el interés y la tentativa en las nuevas generaciones estudiantiles. Precisamente, mediante este trabajo de investigación trataremos de determinar la utilidad del foro virtual (herramienta virtual) para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico (cualidad profesional) aplicando un estudio de tipo aplicativo, cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y así poder aportar con hallazgos que permitan como fuente sólida a los diferentes interesados sobre este contexto educativo moderno. El foro virtual debería ser una herramienta básica utilizada para el afianzamiento de conocimientos, que permita romper fronteras y limitantes a partir de nutritivos debates académicos. El pensamiento crítico es dicha cualidad indispensable para que todo profesional deberá utilizar durante su desempeño laboral como recurso principal en la resolución de problemas sucedidos cotidianamente. La conclusión principal fue determinar la relación directa la “Utilidad del foro virtual en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes de la maestría de docencia universitaria de la Universidad Norbert Wiener en el año 2018”.

The use of this technology in the area of university teaching, has taken a strong role, allowing the teacher strategically didactic and profitable in the teaching-learning process, as it increases the interest and the attempt in the new student generations. Precisely, through this research work we will try to determine the usefulness of the virtual forum (virtual tool) for the development of critical thinking (professional quality) applying a study of application, quantitative, non- experimental, transversal and thus be able to provide findings that allow as a solid source to the different stakeholders about this modern educational context. The virtual forum should be a basic tool used for the consolidation of knowledge, which allows breaking boundaries and limitations based on nutritious academic debates. Critical thinking is the indispensable quality that all professionals must use during their work performance as a main resource in solving problems that occur daily. The main conclusion was to determine the direct relation the "Usefulness of the virtual forum in the development of the critical thinking of the students of the master of university teaching of the Norbert Wiener University in the year 2018".
