Discapacidad y control motor en pacientes con lumbalgia que asisten a una unidad básica de salud. Cajamarca. 2024

Abstract

Este proyecto de investigación tiene como propósito determinar la relación entre la discapacidad y el control motor en pacientes adultos con diagnóstico de lumbalgia que asisten al Centro Médico Municipal “Germán Contreras Jara” de Cajabamba, Cajamarca. La lumbalgia es una de las principales causas de consulta en terapia física y puede limitar significativamente la funcionalidad del individuo, afectando su calidad de vida. El estudio se desarrollará bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, con diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra estará conformada por 80 pacientes entre 30 y 59 años, quienes serán evaluados mediante el test de Oswestry para medir el nivel de discapacidad y el Mini Bestest para valorar el control motor. Se recolectarán datos clínicos y sociodemográficos mediante una ficha diseñada por el autor. Se busca identificar no solo la relación global entre ambas variables, sino también explorar la asociación entre la discapacidad y cada una de las dimensiones del control motor: anticipación, control postural reactivo, orientación sensorial y marcha dinámica. Los resultados permitirán orientar estrategias de intervención fisioterapéutica más específicas, y podrán ser usados como referencia para futuros estudios en el área de la neurorrehabilitación.

This research project aims to determine the relationship between disability and motor control in adult patients diagnosed with low back pain who attend the "Germán Contreras Jara" Municipal Medical Center in Cajabamba, Cajamarca. Low back pain is one of the main reasons for physical therapy consultations and can significantly limit an individual's functionality, affecting their quality of life. The study will be conducted using a quantitative, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample will consist of 80 patients between 30 and 59 years of age, who will be evaluated using the Oswestry Disability Index to measure the level of disability and the Mini Best Test to assess motor control. Clinical and sociodemographic data will be collected using a form designed by the author. The aim is to identify not only the overall relationship between both variables, but also to explore the association between disability and each of the dimensions of motor control: anticipation, reactive postural control, sensory orientation, and dynamic gait. The results will allow for the development of more specific physiotherapy intervention strategies and can be used as a reference for future studies in the area of ​​neurorehabilitation.
