La nutrición enteral, es un tipo de alimentación que se caracteriza ya que va directamente al aparato digestivo, se transmite a través de una sonda nasogástrica o consumo de boca. Nos ayuda a la recuperación y nutrición de los pacientes en estado crítico; ayudándoles a mejorar el aporte calórico, nutricional de la persona hospitalizada. Se quiere lograr a través del estudio: “Cómo el conocimiento sobre la nutrición enteral se relaciona con la práctica del profesional de enfermería en pacientes con ventilación mecánica de un Hospital de Chimbote, 2024” si hay alguna correlación entre las dos variables. Enfoque: cuantitativo, ya que las variables se miden y se puede representar a través de tablas estadísticas, se aplicará método hipotético deductivo, diseño correlacional, corte trasversal y no experimental. 80 enfermeras (os) del servicio de cuidados intensivos adulto de un hospital de Chimbote serán la muestra experimental, se les aplicará dos instrumentos validados correctamente. En la primera variable será evaluado por un cuestionario y para la segunda variable se evaluará por una guía de observación, para el procesamiento y análisis de datos se utilizará el SPSS versión 26 y Microsoft Excel. En la hipótesis se aplicará coeficiente de correlación Spearmans, los resultados se reflejarán en tablas y/o gráficos.

Enteral nutrition is a type of food that is characterized by going directly to the digestive system, transmitted through a nasogastric tube or by mouth. It helps us with the recovery and nutrition of patients in critical condition; helping them improve the caloric and nutri tional intake of the hospitalized person. The aim is to achieve through the study: "How knowledge about enteral nutrition is related to the practice of the nursing professional in patients with mechanical ventilation at a Hospital in Chimbote, 2024" if there is any cor relation between the two variables. Approach: quantitative, since the variables are meas ured and can be represented through statistical tables, hypothetical deductive method, correlational design, cross-sectional and non-experimental will be applied. 80 nurses from the adult intensive care service of a hospital in Chimbote will be the experimental sample; two correctly validated instruments will be applied to them. The first variable will be evaluated by a questionnaire and the second variable will be evaluated by an ob servation guide. SPSS version 26 and Microsoft Excel will be used for data processing and analysis. In the hypothesis, Spearmans correlation coefficient will be applied, the results will be reflected in tables and/or graphs.
