Adherencia terapéutica en el tratamiento antihipertensivo de los pacientes del Centro de Salud San Sebastián – Lima Metropolitana, 2022

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to verify compliance with Good Prescribing Practices (GPP) and analyze Good Dispensing and Sales Practices in Botica Latina and Botica Líder in the San Martín de Porres and San Juan de Lurigancho districts, respectively, during the period of January–March 2019. A descriptive and prospective study was conducted, in which 270 medical prescriptions were evaluated and received from hospitals, clinics, solidarity hospitals, polyclinics, and private practices. 106 were from Botica Latina and 164 were from Botica Líder. To evaluate compliance with Good Prescribing Practices, the Manual of Good Prescribing Practices from the Ministry of Health and the General Directorate of Medicines, Supplies, and Drugs of Peru was used, as well as the respective manual for the analysis of good dispensing practices. It was found that 78.5% (212 prescriptions) omitted the patient's age, 76.3% (206 prescriptions) omitted the diagnosis, and 93% (251 prescriptions) omitted the issuance and expiration date. 65.2% (176 prescriptions) omitted the INN (International Nonproprietary Name), 43% (116 prescriptions) omitted the concentration, and 39.3% (106 prescriptions) omitted the dose frequency. Consequently, it is concluded that there is non-compliance with Good Prescribing Practices, which will limit dispensing in both districts.

Hoy en día la falta de adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico es la causa principal del fracaso, la cual no permite obtener los beneficios que los medicamentos pueden proporcionar a los pacientes. Es por ello que se realizó la siguiente investigación, teniendo como objetivo determinar la adherencia terapéutica en el tratamiento antihipertensivo de los pacientes del centro de Salud San Sebastián – Lima Metropolitana 2022, la metodología que se uso fue analítico cognitivo, nivel de investigación fue descriptiva, diseño no experimental. La muestra fue de 144 pacientes, al cual se le entrego un cuestionario con 23 preguntas. La técnica que se empleo fue la encuesta. Los resultados se obtuvieron en el SPSS empleando la tabla estadística de frecuencia donde se mostró que más son los pacientes de edad adulta del sexo masculino quienes padecen de HTA. Se determino que los pacientes no se adhieren completamente al tratamiento farmacológico. Para la dimensión del comportamiento del paciente hacia la toma de medicación en los tres indicadores se evidencio que más del 50% de los pacientes no cumplen con la toma de medicación evitando la adherencia al tratamiento. En cuanto a la dimensión consecuencia de la mala adherencia mediante sus 3 indicadores se halló que más del 50% de los pacientes tienen una mala adherencia. En conclusión, se determinó que ninguno de los pacientes encuestados se adhiere completamente al tratamiento antihipertensivo.
