Conocimiento y adherencia al tratamiento de hemodiálisis en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica, Clínica Virgen de Lourdes, 2023

Abstract

El presente trabajo ha identificado un aumento de pacientes en tratamiento de hemodiálisis que muestran apatía y escaso conocimiento acerca de su condición. Asimismo, se ha registrado abandono del procedimiento dialítico por factores como la falta de tiempo, limitaciones económicas o ausencia de apoyo familiar. En este contexto, el profesional de enfermería adquiere un papel fundamental como agente educativo. Por tal este estudio tiene como objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y la adherencia al tratamiento de hemodiálisis en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica, Clínica Virgen de Lourdes, 2023. Metodología: la investigación es de tipo aplicada, de método hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo de nivel correlacional, su población será los pacientes de la clínica y su muestra será 80, donde aplicará dos instrumentos para la primera variable es, cuestionario Nivel de conocimientos y para la segunda variable, adherencia al tratamiento de hemodiálisis. Para la obtención de los resultados se utilizará el programa estadístico SPSS versión, 26, donde se registrarán los datos obtenidos de las encuestas, y se trabajara con el estadístico de Rho de Spearman para corroborar los hallazgos que se encuentren con el planteamiento de las hipótesis y al finalizar realizar las conclusiones de la investigación.

This study has identified an increase in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment who exhibit apathy and limited knowledge about their condition. Furthermore, patients have been observed discontinuing dialysis due to factors such as lack of time, financial limitations, or absence of family support. In this context, the nursing professional plays a fundamental role as an educational agent. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and adherence to hemodialysis treatment in patients with chronic kidney failure at the Virgen de Lourdes Clinic in 2023. Methodology: This applied research employs a hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative, correlational approach. The population consists of patients at the clinic, and the sample comprises 80 patients. Two instruments will be used to measure the first variable: a knowledge level questionnaire, and the second variable: adherence to hemodialysis treatment. To obtain the results, the statistical program SPSS version 26 will be used, where the data obtained from the surveys will be recorded, and the Spearman's Rho statistic will be used to corroborate the findings with the hypothesis formulation and, at the end, to draw the conclusions of the research.
