El portafolio de evidencias y habilidades metacognitivas en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana, 2022

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar el nivel de relación existente entre las variables del portafolio de evidencias en el desarrollo de las habilidades metacognitivas en estudiantes universitarios. La metodología fue de tipo aplicada, empleando el método hipotéticodeductivo con enfoque cuantitativo. El diseño metodológico fue no experimental, de nivel correlacional y de corte transversal. La población estuvo constituida por discentes de una universidad privada de Lima. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta, lo que permitió el recojo de información de las variables por medio de un test de evaluación y dos instrumentos estandarizados de escala Likert. Como resultado principal se encontró la existencia de relación significativa entre el uso del portafolio de evidencias y el desarrollo de las habilidades metacognitivas en estudiantes universitarios, se consideró el estadístico rho de Spearman y un nivel de significación de 0,01. La investigación determinó que el valor de rho de Spearman es 0,698 y el p-valor (sig. bilateral) es menor que el nivel significancia, 0,000 < 0,01. Por ello, la investigación concluyó que hay relación significativa entre el uso del portafolio de evidencias y las habilidades metacognitivas, lo que estableció de modo significativo que, a mejor valoración del uso del portafolio de evidencias en el marco de un currículo por competencias, mejores son las herramientas básicas de planificación, monitoreo y evaluación que permiten al estudiante tomar conciencia de sus fortalezas y debilidades en su formación universitaria.

This research aimed to determine the level of relationship between the variables of the evidence portfolio in the development of metacognitive skills in university students. The methodology was of the applied type, using the hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach. The methodological design was non-experimental, correlational and crosssectional. The population consisted of students from a private university in Lima. The technique used was the survey, which allowed the collection of information on the variables through an evaluation test and two standardized Likert scale instruments. The main result was the existence of a significant relationship between the use of the evidence portfolio and the development of metacognitive skills in university students, the Spearman's rho statistic and a significance level of 0.01 were considered. The investigation determined that Spearman's rho value is 0.698 and the pvalue (2-sided sig.) is less than the significance level, 0.000 < 0.01. For this reason, the research concluded that there is a significant relationship between the use of the evidence portfolio and metacognitive skills, which significantly established that, the better the use of the evidence portfolio within the framework of a competency-based curriculum, the better they are. the basic planning, monitoring and evaluation tools that allow the student to become aware of their strengths and weaknesses in their university education.
