Nivel de estrés y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de Terapia Física y Rehabilitación de la Universidad de Ica, 2022

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue determinar el nivel de relación entre el estrés y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes Terapia Física y Rehabilitación. La investigación de diseño no experimental tipo aplicada, método hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y de corte transversal con una muestra de 100 discentes, bajo un muestreo no probabilístico. Los instrumentos de medición utilizados son el cuestionario Inventario SISCO del estrés académico, y para la variable rendimiento académico se utilizó los promedios de los estudiantes de Terapia física y rehabilitación. De acuerdo con el análisis estadístico se encontró que existe relación significativa p= 0,000 < 0,05 entre las variables de estudio, asimismo se halló por medio del coeficiente de Tau-b de Kendal de -0.909 que esta correlación es negativa alta entre el estrés y el rendimiento académico El estudio concluyó que los estudiantes de terapia física y rehabilitación pueden sufrir los efectos del estrés y generar un impacto sobre el rendimiento académico, por lo que se establece su relación.

The objective of this research work was to determine the level of relationship between stress and academic performance in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation students. The nonexperimental design research applied type, hypothetical deductive method, quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional approach with a sample of 100 students, under a nonprobabilistic sampling. The measurement instruments used are the SISCO Inventory questionnaire of academic stress, and for the academic performance variable, the averages of the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation students were used. According to the statistical analysis, it was found that there is a significant relationship p= 0.000 < 0.05 between the study variables, it was also found by means of Kendal's Tau-b coefficient of -0.909 that this correlation is high negative between stress and academic performance The study concluded that physical therapy and rehabilitation students can suffer the effects of stress and generate an impact on academic performance, so their relationship is established.
