Índices hematológicos VPM, INL e IPL como predictores de preclampsia en gestantes atendidas en el hospital II EsSalud- Cañete, enero a diciembre 2024

Abstract

La preeclampsia en el mundo, causa la muerte de aproximadamente 50,000 gestantes al año, en nuestro país provoca el 22% de las defunciones maternas. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar el valor predictivo de los índices hematológicos (VPM, INL e IPL), para identificar de manera temprana a las gestantes con mayor riesgo de preeclampsia, que fueron atendidas en el Hospital II Essalud Cañete, durante el período enero a diciembre del año 2024. La presente investigación, se llevará a cabo desde la perspectiva metodológica, hipotético deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo correlacional, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y retrospectivo, aplicada en gestantes con y sin preeclampsia, para ello se revisarán las historias clínicas de las embarazadas atendidas durante el período enero a diciembre del 2024, que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se calcularán los índices hematológicos previstos, y se compararán con sus controles anteriores durante el primer trimestre de embarazo. La información recolectada será ingresada en una base de datos, en el cual se obtendrá el punto de corte óptimo, como factor de riesgo para preeclampsia, por cada marcador hematológico, posteriormente, se establecerá su utilidad al calcular la sensibilidad, especificidad y los valores predictivos positivo y negativo.

Preeclampsia causes the death of approximately 50,000 pregnant women worldwide each year; in our country, it accounts for 22% of maternal deaths. The objective of this study is to evaluate the predictive value of hematological indices (PMV, INL, and IPL) to identify early on pregnant women at higher risk of preeclampsia who were treated at Hospital II Essalud Cañete during the period from January to December 2024. This research will be carried out from a methodological perspective, hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and retrospective, applied to pregnant women with and without preeclampsia. For this purpose, the medical records of pregnant women treated during the period from January to December 2024 who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria will be reviewed. The predicted hematological indices will be calculated and compared with their previous check-ups during the first trimester of pregnancy. The collected information will be entered into a database, in which the optimal cut-off point will be obtained as a risk factor for preeclampsia for each hematological marker. Subsequently, its usefulness will be established by calculating the sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values.
