Introduction: Neck pain is a common musculoskeletal condition in physically demanding sectors such as the textile industry, where prolonged postures, repetitive movements and the handling of loads increase the risk of developing it. Given that the lack of adherence to postural hygiene guidelines contributes to its onset, this study analyses the relationship between these two variables among workers, with the aim of guiding preventive interventions in this sector. Objective: To determine the relationship between postural hygiene and neck pain syndrome in workers at the Colavice textile company in Chorrillos. Methodology: Applied study, quantitative approach, non experimental design, cross-sectional study with a correlational scope. The sample consisted of 100 workers, who were administered a 31-item postural hygiene questionnaire and the Neck Disability Index (NDI) to assess cervical pain syndrome. Spearman’s Rho statistical test was used to analyse the relationship between variables, with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The predominant level of postural hygiene was found to be moderate (48.0%), followed by low (33.0%) and high (19.0%). Regarding cervical pain, a predominance of mild and moderate disability was observed (44.0% each). Conclusion: A significant inverse correlation was found between postural hygiene and cervical pain syndrome (rs=-0.434; p<0.001), indicating that better postural practices are associated with lower severity of cervical pain, highlighting the importance of implementing prevention strategies in the workplace.en_US
