Tiempo de almacenamiento y efectividad terapéutica de transfusiones de concentrados de glóbulos rojos en pacientes atendidos en un hospital de Chimbote, 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: tiene como finalidad determinar la influencia del tiempo de almacenamiento en la efectividad terapéutica de las transfusiones de los concentrados de glóbulos rojos en pacientes atendidos en el Servicio de Banco de Sangre del Hospital La Caleta de Chimbote, 2024; así mismo, identificar las variaciones en los parámetros sanguíneos antes y después de la transfusión. Este reconocimiento, en espacio y tiempo, permitirá realizar un análisis de lo general a lo particular, para finalmente concluir si el tiempo de almacenamiento tiene relación directa sobre la efectividad terapéutica de las transfusiones de los concentrados de glóbulos rojos. Métodos: Este estudio utilizará el método hipotético deductivo, puesto que se parte de suposiciones iniciales para conocer la realidad; así mismo el enfoque será cuantitativo para establecer relaciones entre fenómenos medibles, de tipo aplicada y con diseño no experimental de alcance correlacional y corte longitudinal.

Objective: The aim is to determine the influence of storage time on the therapeutic effectiveness of red blood cell concentrate transfusions in patients treated at the Blood Bank Service of La Caleta Hospital in Chimbote, 2024; likewise, to identify variations in blood parameters before and after transfusion. This recognition, in space and time, will allow for an analysis from the general to the specific, to finally conclude whether storage time has a direct relationship with the therapeutic effectiveness of red blood cell concentrate transfusions. Methods: This study will use the hypothetico-deductive method, since it starts from initial assumptions to understand reality; likewise, the approach will be quantitative to establish relationships between measurable phenomena, of an applied type, and with a non-experimental design of correlational scope and longitudinal cross-section.
