Funcionalidad familiar y adherencia terapéutica en pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar en el Centro de Salud Santa Rosa de Lima, 2020 – 2023

Abstract

El presente trabajo de estudio tiene como Objetivo determinar la correlación entre la funcionalidad familiar y la adherencia terapéutica en pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar en el Centro de Salud Santa Rosa de Lima, 2020 – 2023. El método utilizado fue el hipotético-deductivo, de corte transversal y nivel descriptivo-correlacional. La población y muestra fue censal conformada por 82 pacientes diagnosticados con tuberculosis pulmonar que acudían al Centro de Salud, para recibir tratamiento farmacológico. Se aplicó 2 técnicas (la encuesta y el análisis documental) y 2 instrumentos para la recolección de datos utilizados, el cuestionario APGAR FAMILIAR – modificado y la ficha observacional adaptado al TEST DE MORISKY GREEN (MMAS-8). Para medir la confiabilidad de los instrumentos de aplicó el alfa de Cronbach (0,814). En los resultados, la prueba estadística aplicada fue el estadístico Chi-cuadrado; en funcionalidad familiar, se halló el 39% (N=32) fueron familias con disfunción leve, un 31,7% (N=26) familias con buena funcionalidad; en adherencia terapéutica el 56,1 (N=46) fueron no adherentes. No hubo asociación significativa en la dimensión adaptación familiar (p=0,328). Si hubo asociación en las dimensiones participación familiar (p=0,004) y recurso familiar (p=0,000). Conclusiones: Si se encontró relación significante entre funcionalidad familiar y adherencia terapéutica en pacientes infestados con tuberculosis pulmonar en el Centro de Salud Santa Rosa de Lima, 2020 – 2023.

The objective of this study is to determine the correlation between family functionality and therapeutic adherence in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at the Santa Rosa de Lima Health Center, 2020 - 2023. The method used was the hypothetical-deductive, cross-sectional method. and descriptive-correlational level. The population and sample was census made up of 82 patients diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis who attended the Health Center to receive pharmacological treatment. Two techniques were applied (survey and documentary analysis) and two instruments were used for data collection, the FAMILY APGAR questionnaire – modified and the observational sheet adapted to the MORISKY GREEN TEST (MMAS-8). To measure the reliability of the instruments, Cronbach's alpha (0.814) was applied. In the results, the statistical test applied was the Chi-square statistic; In family functionality, 39% (N=32) were found to be families with mild dysfunction, 31.7% (N=26) were families with good functionality; In therapeutic adherence, 56.1 (N=46) were non-adherent. There was no significant association in the family adaptation dimension (p=0.328). There was an association in the dimensions family participation (p=0.004) and family resource (p=0.000). Conclusions: There is a significant association between family functionality and therapeutic adherence in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at the Santa Rosa de Lima health center, 2020 - 2023.
