Estrés y desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería en centro quirúrgico de un hospital de Lima, 2024

Abstract

Una de las enfermedades del siglo XXI es el estrés, el cual afecta diversas profesiones, principalmente al profesional de salud que hoy día tiene múltiples responsabilidades, además de la demanda de trabajo que tiene que cumplir día a día, por ello es importante prestar la debida atención a este problema que puede causar un gran desgaste físico y emocional. Por ello, la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia del estrés en el desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería en Centro Quirúrgico de un Hospital de Lima. El cual se formuló a través de la siguiente interrogante ¿Como influye el estrés en el desempeño laboral del personal de enfermería en Centro Quirúrgico? El estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño observacional, usando un tipo de investigación aplicada y a través del método hipotético deductivo. Por tratarse de una población finita se seleccionó toda la población como muestra, la cual estuvo conformada por 80 enfermeros que laboran en el área de centro quirúrgico de un hospital de Lima. Para recolectar los datos se usaron como instrumentos la escala de Burnout Inventory Human Services (MBI-HSS ) y el cuestionario de desempeño laboral. Luego los resultados obtenidos se ordenarán para ser exportados al programa de computo SPSS y así de esta manera poder analizar los resultados y sintetizar las conclusiones respectivas.

Therefore, the objective of this research was to determine the influence of stress on the work performance of nursing staff in the Surgical Center of a Hospital in Lima. Which was formulated through the following question: How does stress influence the work performance of nursing staff in a Surgical Center? The study had a quantitative approach, with an observational design, using a type of applied research and through the hypothetical-deductive method. Because it is a finite population, the entire population was selected as a sample, which was made up of 80 nurses who work in the surgical center area of a hospital in Lima. To collect the data, the Burnout Inventory Human Services scale (MBI-HSS) and the job performance questionnaire were used as instruments. Then the results obtained will be ordered to be exported to the SPSS computer program and thus be able to analyze the results and synthesize the respective conclusions.
