Estrés laboral en tiempos de pandemia y rendimiento académico en estudiantes de Nefrología de una universidad privada - Lima, 2022

Abstract

El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre estrés laboral en tiempos de pandemia y rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de especialidad de nefrología de una universidad privada Lima 2022. Para esta finalidad se planteó bajo el método hipotético deductivo, con orientación cuantitativa, aplicada y correlacional; El instrumento empleado fue Maslasch Burnout Inventory de 22 items y tres dimensiones, tomado del estudio de Rodríguez (2017) y la técnica para aplicarlo fue la encuesta, para la variable Rendimiento académico se utilizó las calificaciones de los estudiantes; la muestra quedó conformada por 100 estudiantes; como resultado se encontró que existe relación significativa entre estrés laboral y el rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de la muestra (p= 0,035 < 0,05 y Rho Spearman= 0, 211), lo que significa que la relación es positiva pero muy baja; concluyendo que el estrés laboral en los estudiantes de nefrología no afecta en gran medida su rendimiento académico, probablemente porque los niveles de estrés propio de su labor profesional no son altos.

The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between work stress in times of pandemic and academic performance of nephrology specialty students from a private university in Lima 2022. For this purpose, it was proposed under the hypothetical-deductive method, with quantitative orientation, applied and correlational; The instrument used was the Maslasch Burnout Inventory of 22 items and three dimensions, taken from the study by Rodríguez (2017) and the technique to apply it was the survey, for the variable Academic performance, the students' grades were used; the sample was made up of 100 students; As a result, it was found that there is a significant relationship between work stress and academic performance in the students of the sample (p= 0.035 < 0.05 and Rho Spearman= 0.211), which means that the relationship is positive but very low; concluding that work stress in nephrology students does not greatly affect their academic performance, probably because the stress levels of their professional work are not high.
