Conocimientos y actitudes sobre uso de métodos anticonceptivos en mujeres en edad fértil, atendidas en Centro de Salud - Ate, 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como propósito: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento y las actitudes sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en mujeres edad fértil atendidas en el Centro de Salud - Ate, 2025. La investigación fue un enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético-deductivo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, correlacional y corte transversal. La población estuvo conversado por 1200 y una muestra de 291mujeres en edad fértil, mediante muestreo probabilístico donde se aplicó el instrumento cuestionario validado (kuder-Richardson=0,883) y confiabilizado (alfa de Cronbach=0.89). Resultados: evidenciaron el 85% de las mujeres presentó altos conocimientos y el 98% tuvo actitudes positivas hacia métodos anticonceptivos. Se halló una correlación positiva alta y significativa entre el conocimiento y las actitudes (p = 0,842; p < 0,001). El método anticonceptivo se correlacionó de forma positiva moderada (p = 0,489), las creencias culturales en forma positiva alta (p = 0,649) y la estructura familiar en forma positiva alta (p = 0,758), todas significativas (p < 0,001). Se determinó que existe asociación entre el conocimiento y las actitudes sobre métodos anticonceptivos en mujeres en edad reproductiva, demostrando que a mayor conocimiento existen mejores actitudes hacia la planificación familiar.

The purpose of the present study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes regarding the use of contraceptive methods among women of childbearing age attending the Ate Health Center in 2025. The research was a quantitative approach, hypothetical. deductive method, applied type, non experimental design, correlational and cross sectional. The population was interviewed by 1200 and a sample of 291 women of fertile age, through probabilistic sampling where thue validated (kuder-richardson=0.833) and trusted (Cronbach) alpha=0.89 Results: 85% of the women demonstrated a high level of knowledge, and 98% had positive attitudes toward contraceptive methods. A high and significant positive correlation was found between knowledge and attitudes (p = 0.842; p < 0.001). The contraceptive method showed a moderate positive correlation (p = 0.489), cultural beliefs a high positive correlation (p = 0.649), and family structure a high positive correlation (p = 0.758), all significant (p < 0.001). It was determined that there is an association between knowledge and attitudes about contraceptive methods in women of reproductive age, demonstrating that greater knowledge leads to better attitudes towards family planning.
