Gestión de los medicamentos oncológicos y la cobertura a otros pacientes en los hospitales del Ministerio de Salud, Categoria III, Lima, 2017

Abstract

En nuestro País la contraloría general de la República inició un proceso de auditoría y seguimiento al gasto realizado por las unidades oncológicas, en especial a los medicamentos de alto costo de diferentes hospitales. Siendo las enfermedades oncológicas las que necesitan por su naturaleza, manifestación y evolución, tratamientos que son denominados de alto costo por el impacto a la economía familiar, es menester evaluar la gestión de aquellos tratamientos que se brindan en los hospitales. Estos medicamentos tienen un proceso de reconstitución y dilución luego de ser dosificado por los médicos, es muy importante velar que estos procesos se realicen adecuadamente y que los residuos de los medicamentos puedan ser derivados a otros que también los necesitan. El objetivo de la investigación fue establecer la relación entre la gestión de los medicamentos oncológicos con la cobertura a otros pacientes en los Hospitales del Ministerio de Salud, Categoría III. La investigación ha considerado como población al personal que labora en el área de oncología y la muestra fue de 30 trabajadores responsables de las áreas de oncología. La técnica utilizada fue la entrevista y como instrumento, el cuestionario.
