Fuerza muscular periférica y su relación con la capacidad funcional en pacientes post Covid de un centro privado de Lima, 2022

Abstract

El presente 2019 marco un precedente con la aparición del covid 19, también ha sido motivo de diversos estudios con el fin de resolver el mejor tratamiento. A su vez las consecuencias después de haber contraído el virus dejaron grandes secuelas que causaron disnea, fatiga, discapacidad laboral, depresión entre otros. Sin embargo, la capacidad funcional ha sido la determinante que ha causado gran discapacidad por sobre otras. Por tal motivo la rehabilitación cardio respiratoria pudo abrirse de un camino a lograr el estudio, cuantificable de los avances en tratamiento sobre las secuelas de la enfermedad, de esta manera el presente estudio permite conocer que la fuerza muscular es un factor directamente relacionado a las capacidades funcionales del ser humano. Será de gran importancia conocer el impacto que tuvieron los pacientes después del covid 19, y así mismo su avance en devolver a la sociedad e integrar sus actividades de la vida diaria.

The year 2019 marked a precedent with the emergence of COVID-19, which has also been the subject of various studies aimed at determining the best treatment. In turn, the consequences after contracting the virus left significant after-effects, causing dyspnea, fatigue, work disability, depression, among others. However, functional capacity has been the determining factor that has caused greater disability than others. For this reason, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation has been able to pave the way for quantifiable studies of advances in treatment of the after-effects of the disease. This study thus reveals that muscle strength is a factor directly related to human functional capacities. It will be of great importance to understand the impact that patients have had after COVID-19, as well as their progress in returning to society and integrating their daily activities.
