Estrés y lesiones musculoesqueléticas en cuidadores de un centro educativo básico especial, Barrios Altos, 2024

Abstract

Introducción: Se hace mención a una problemática actual que presentan los cuidadores o familiares de niños con habilidades especiales de un centro básico especial, siendo estos el estrés y las lesiones musculoesqueléticas impactando seriamente en la salud mental y física, además, el desempeño perjudicando el cuidado del menor. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estrés y las lesiones musculoesqueléticas en cuidadores de un centro educativo básico especial de Barrios Altos en 2024. Metodología: El método es hipotético – deductivo, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La muestra estará conformada por 40 cuidadores pertenecientes al CEBE San Bartolomé. Los instrumentos utilizados serán la Escala del Estrés Percibido que medirá la variable estrés y el Cuestionario Nórdico que medirá la variable LME. Resultados: Se evidencia que el género y edad de mayor predominancia son del sexo femenino con un 70% entre los 41 a 50 (52,5%,), el total de la muestra presentan LME siendo la mas frecuente la zona dorso-lumbar con un 16% siguiendo la zona cervical con un 11% y el hombro con un 9%. Con respecto a la discapacidad del menor en mi estudio refirió que el 42,5% presentan TEA, el 40,0% presentan Síndrome de Down y el 5,0% presentan retraso mental. El 52,5% presentan el nivel de estrés alto, el 40,0% presentan el nivel de estrés medio y el 7,5% presentan el nivel de estrés bajo. Conclusión: El trabajo de investigación concluye que no existe relación entre las variables estrés y lesiones musculoesqueléticas en cuidadores de un centro educativo básico especial de Barrios Altos en 2024.

Introduction: Mention is made of a current problem presented by caregivers or relatives of children with special abilities in a special basic center, these being stress and musculoskeletal injuries seriously impacting mental and physical health, in addition, performance harming the care of the minor. Objective: Determine the relationship between stress and musculoskeletal injuries in caregivers at a special basic educational center in Barrios Altos in 2024. Methodology: The method is hypothetical - deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The sample will be made up of 40 caregivers belonging to the CEBE San Bartolomé. The instruments used will be the Perceived Stress Scale, which will measure the stress variable, and the Nordic Questionnaire, which will measure the SCI variable. Results: It is evident that the most predominant gender and age are female with 70% between 41 and 50 (52.5%), the total sample presents SCI, the most frequent being the dorso-lumbar area with 16 % following the cervical area with 11% and the shoulder with 9%. Regarding the disability of the minor, my study reported that 42.5% have ASD, 40.0% have Down Syndrome and 5.0% have mental retardation. 52.5% have a high level of stress, 40.0% have a medium level of stress and 7.5% have a low level of stress. Conclusion: The research work concludes that there is no relationship between the stress variables and musculoskeletal injuries in caregivers of a special basic educational center in Barrios Altos in 2024.
