Nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre el uso de micronutrientes y la relación con la adherencia en niños de 6 a 35 mees en el centro de atención primaria III Huáycan – Lima en el año 2021.

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene por objetivo general determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos de las madres sobre el uso de micronutrientes y la adherencia en niños de 6 a 35 meses. Tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada y de alcance o nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. Realizado durante el mes de julio del 2021. Participaron 158 madres que cumplieron criterios de inclusión y de exclusión. Se aplicó dos instrumentos vía telefónica para la recolección de los datos por cada una de las variables, validado por 5 jueces expertos. Entre los resultados encontrados tenemos que el 57% de las madres tenían entre 31 a 40 años de edad, el 36% de las madres con estudios secundarios y el 60% son amas de casa. El 51% de los niños son de sexo femenino, el 67 % tenían 6 a 12 meses de edad cuando recibieron los micronutrientes. El 62% de las madres tienen un alto conocimiento sobre micronutriente y son adherentes. El 47% tienen un alto conocimiento sobre el contenido, el 82% tienen un alto conocimiento sobre la administración y el 64% de madres tienen un alto conocimiento sobre la conservación. No se encontró relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimientos de las madres sobre el uso de micronutrientes y la adherencia. Se evidenció que existe relación significativa entre la dimensión conservación de los micronutrientes con la adherencia en niños de 6 a 35 meses de edad (p < 0.05).

The general objective of this study is to determine the relationship between mothers&#39; level of knowledge about micronutrient use and adherence in children aged 6 to 35 months. It had a quantitative approach, applied type and scope or correlational level, nonexperimental design and cross-section. It was held during the month of July 2021. A total of 158 mothers who met inclusion and exclusion criteria participated. Two instruments were applied by telephone for the collection of data for each of the variables, validated by 5 expert judges. Among the results found, we have that 57% of the mothers were between 31 and 40 years of age, 36% of the mothers attended high school and 60% are housewives. 51% of children are female, 67% were 6 to 12 months old when they received the micronutrients. 62% of mothers have a high knowledge about micronutrients and are adherents. 47% have a high knowledge about the content, 82% have a high knowledge about the administration and 64% of mothers have a high knowledge about conservation. Not significant relationship was found between the mothers' level of knowledge about the use of micronutrients and adherence. It was evidenced that there is a significant relationship between the conservation dimension of micronutrients and adherence in children 6 to 35 months of age (p <0.05).
