Los hábitos de estudio y el estrés académico en el alumnado de posgrado de una universidad privada de Lima, 2022

Abstract

La investigación desarrollada en una universidad privada de Lima, tuvo el objetivo de determinar la relación que existe entre los “hábitos de estudio” y el “estrés académico” en los alumnos de posgrado matriculados en el ciclo impar del año 2022. La investigación fue de tipo básico con nivel correlacional descriptivo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal con enfoque cuantitativo en una población de 120 estudiantes de maestría, de la que se sustrajo una muestra de 92 unidades de análisis a través de una ecuación estadística para poblaciones finitas. La técnica utilizada en la investigación fue la encuesta, aplicada mediante dos instrumentos de medición: para la variable hábitos de estudio se utilizó un cuestionario adaptado del inventario de hábitos de estudio CASM-85 y para la segunda variable un cuestionario adaptado del inventario SISCO SV-21. Los resultados de la prueba descriptiva realizada con el software estadístico SPSS-v26, da cuenta que el 95,65% de los estudiantes de posgrado de la universidad estudiada, han desarrollado hábitos de estudio en un nivel medio y el 2,17% lo hace en niveles altos, lo que hace que una gran mayoría asimila distintas características de preparación para afrontar su formación académica; mientras que el análisis de correlación con el Rho de Spearman, arrojó una relación estadísticamente significativa (r = 0,370) y una significancia bilateral de 0,000, la misma que es < 0,05 el cual se concluyó la existencia de una relación significativa entre los hábitos de estudio con el estrés académico, considerando además factores internos que inciden en el estado emocional de los estudiantes a nivel de posgrado.

The research carried out at a private university in Lima had the objective of determining the degree of relationship between the variables "study habits" and "academic stress" in the students of the postgraduate section enrolled in the odd cycle of the year 2022, considering that this second element is linked to the perception and impact that individuals have on some factors considered academic stressors, to which they may or may not respond favorably. The study was of a basic type with a descriptive correlational level, a nonexperimental cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach in a population of 120 master's students, from which a sample of 92 units of analysis was subtracted through a statistical equation for finite populations. The technique used in the research was the survey, applied through two measurement instruments: for the study habits variable, a questionnaire adapted from the CASM-85 study habits inventory was used and, for the second variable, a questionnaire adapted from the SISCO SV inventory. -twenty-one. The results of the descriptive test carried out with the statistical software SPSS-V26, show that 95.65% of the postgraduate students of the studied university have developed study habits at a medium level and 2.17% do so. at high levels, which means that a large majority assimilates different characteristics of preparation to face their academic training; while the correlation analysis with Spearman's Rho, showed a statistically significant relationship (r = 0.370) and a bilateral significance of 0.000, the same which is <0.05 from which it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between habits of study with academic stress, also considering internal factors that affect the emotional state of students at the postgraduate level.
