Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la discapacidad por lumbalgia y la calidad de vida en los comerciantes del mercado Conzac, periodo 2024. Materiales y Métodos: El estudio fue Cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado de nivel correlacional, la muestra de esta investigación estará conformada por 84 participantes que laboran en el mercado de forma presencial de 25 a 50 años de ambos sexos y se utilizó los cuestionarios de Oswestry (Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire) y el Cuestionario de calidad de vida (WHOQOL – BREF). Resultados: El grupo mayoritario es el de comerciantes entre 30 y 34 años, que representan el 27.38% del total, la muestra está representada de manera equitativa por mujeres y hombres, ambas categorías con un 50%, existe una prevalencia mayoritaria de incapacidad severa de 41.67%, se aprecia una mayoría con calidad de vida baja, representado por el 61.90% y se observa que la relación entre la discapacidad por lumbalgia y la calidad de vida es significativa (p = 0.000 < 0.05); así mismo, el coeficiente de Spearman es -0.665, lo cual indica que existe una correlación negativa moderada Conclusiones: Según la distribución por grupo etario el grupo mayoritario fue el de comerciantes entre 30 y 34 años, la muestra está representada de manera equitativa por mujeres y hombres, existe una prevalencia mayoritaria de incapacidad severa por lo cual se aprecia una mayoría con calidad de vida baja. La discapacidad por lumbalgia y la variable calidad de vida se relacionan entre sí de manera negativa y moderada.

Objective: Determine the relationship between disability due to low back pain and quality of life in the merchants of the Conzac market, period 2024. Materials and Methods: The study was Quantitative, of an applied type of correlational level, the sample of this research will be made up of 84 participants who work in the market in person between 25 and 50 years of age of both sexes and the Oswestry questionnaires (Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire) and the Quality-of-Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL – BREF) were used. Results: The majority group is merchants between 30 and 34 years old, who represent 27.38% of the total, the sample is equally represented by women and men, both categories with 50%, there is a majority prevalence of severe disability 41.67%, a majority with low quality of life is seen, represented by 61.90% and it is observed that the relationship between disability due to low back pain and quality of life is significant (p = 0.000 < 0.05); Likewise, the Spearman coefficient is -0.665, which indicates that there is a moderate negative correlation Conclusions: According to the distribution by age group, the majority group was merchants between 30 and 34 years old, the sample is equally represented by women and men, there is a majority prevalence of severe disability, which is why a majority has a low quality of life. Disability due to low back pain and the quality-of-life variable are negatively and moderately related to each other.
