Relación entre la educación virtual y el nivel de satisfacción de los estudiantes de una universidad peruana, 2023

Abstract

El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la relación entre la educación virtual y el nivel de satisfacción de los estudiantes en una universidad peruana en el año 2023. La metodología adoptada se basó en el método hipotético deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño de investigación aplicada no experimental. La población de interés comprendió a los estudiantes de cinco carreras ofrecidas por una universidad peruana en Ate: Derecho, Administración, Ingeniería Civil, Psicología y Arquitectura, quienes llevaron a cabo sus estudios mediante modalidad virtual durante el año 2023. La población total fue calculada multiplicando la cantidad de carreras por la cantidad de estudiantes, resultando en un total de 307. La muestra se seleccionó mediante muestreo por conveniencia, y consistió en 225 estudiantes de las cinco carreras mencionadas. La herramienta principal utilizada fue un cuestionario administrado a través de una encuesta. Los resultados obtenidos revelaron un valor de significancia (p valor) inferior a 0.05, lo que respalda la aceptación de la hipótesis alternativa. Además, se observó una correlación positiva según los criterios de interpretación de "rho" Spearman. En conclusión, esta fuerte asociación sugiere que la calidad general de la educación virtual tiene un impacto sustancial en la satisfacción de los estudiantes.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between virtual education and the level of student satisfaction in a Peruvian university in the year 2023. The methodology adopted was based on the hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach and a research design. non-experimental applied. The population of interest included students from five majors offered by a Peruvian university in Ate: Law, Administration, Civil Engineering, Psychology and Architecture, who carried out their studies through virtual modality during the year 2023. The total population was calculated by multiplying the number of majors times the number of students, resulting in a total of 307. The sample was selected through convenience sampling, and consisted of 225 students from the five aforementioned majors. The main tool used was a questionnaire administered through a survey. The results obtained revealed a significance value (p value) less than 0.05, which supports the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Furthermore, a positive correlation was observed according to Spearman's "rho" interpretation criteria. In conclusion, this strong association suggests that the overall quality of virtual education has a substantial impact on student satisfaction.
