Precisión de los métodos HPLC e inmunoturbidimetría en la determinación de HbA1c en pacientes con anemia del Hospital Nacional San Bartolomé, 2025

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo, Comparar la precisión de los métodos HPLC e inmunoturbidimetría en la determinación de HbA1c en pacientes con anemia del Hospital Nacional San Bartolomé, 2025. El estudio fue tipo básico, con un enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo y comparativo y diseño no experimental. La muestra estuvo constituida por 100 pacientes. Como técnica se empleó el análisis documental y como herramienta de recolección de información se utilizó la ficha de recolección de datos. Los resultados evidenciaron que, en base a los hallazgos obtenidos en el contraste de hipótesis, existen diferencias significativas entre los valores de HbA1c determinados por los métodos HPLC y inmunoturbidimetría (p < 0.000). Se concluyó que, el método de inmunoturbidimetría reporta valores de HbA1c consistentemente menores que el método HPLC, por lo que, no son intercambiables en el diagnóstico de diabetes.

The present study aims to compare the accuracy of HPLC and immunoturbidimetry methods in determining HbA1c in patients with anemia at the San Bartolomé National Hospital in 2025. The study was basic, with a quantitative approach, descriptive and comparative level, and a non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 100 patients. Document analysis was used as the technique, and the data collection form was used as the data collection tool. The results showed that, based on the findings obtained from the hypothesis contrast, there are significant differences between the HbA1c values determined by the HPLC and immunoturbidimetry methods (p < 0.000). It was concluded that the immunoturbidimetry method reports consistently lower HbA1c values than the HPLC method, therefore, they are not interchangeable in the diagnosis of diabetes.
