Relación entre el procesamiento sensorial táctil y el nivel de actividad física en niños típicos de 6 a 8 años del Colegio Nacional Villcapaza-Puno 2024

Abstract

Introducción: En el Perú el nivel de actividad físico ha disminuido, así como la interacción (física, social y afectiva) de los padres con sus hijos viéndose amedrentada principalmente por la exigencia laboral y pobreza (siendo Puno la provincia más pobre con un 43%). A raíz de la pandemia la virtualidad fomentó el uso de dispositivos electrónicos, tabletas y teléfonos inteligentes, pasando a ser los principales focos de esparcimiento y diversión, dejando de lado las actividades deportivas y lúdicas. El nivel de actividad físico antes de los 6 años es fundamental para para integrar los aprendizajes, generar mayores grados de regulación psico emocional, regular el peso y mejorar el desarrollo físico y mental. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el procesamiento sensorial táctil y el nivel de actividad física en niños típicos de 6 a 8 años del colegio nacional Villcapaza-Puno 2024. Material y métodos: Tipo de investigación hipotético deductivo; diseño no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional y transversal; de enfoque cuantitativo; la población está conformada por alumnos de 6 a 8 años del colegio Villcapaza del departamento de Puno. Se aplicarán dos cuestionarios: TIE de 23 preguntas (medirá el procesamiento sensorial táctil) y PAQ-C de 10 preguntas (medirá el nivel de actividad física).

Introduction: In Peru, physical activity levels have decreased, as has the interaction (physical, social, and emotional) between parents and their children, primarily driven by work demands and poverty (with Puno being the poorest province at 43%). As a result of the pandemic, virtual reality has encouraged the use of electronic devices, tablets, and smartphones, which have become the main centers of recreation and entertainment, leaving aside sports and recreational activities. A level of physical activity before the age of 6 is essential for integrating learning, generating greater levels of psycho-emotional regulation, regulating weight, and improving physical and mental development. Objective: To determine the relationship between tactile sensory processing and physical activity levels in typical children aged 6 to 8 years at the Villcapaza-Puno 2024 National School. Materials and methods: The research was hypothetical-deductive; the design was non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional; the approach was quantitative; the population consisted of students aged 6 to 8 years at the Villcapaza School in the department of Puno. Two questionnaires were administered: a 23-question TIE (measuring tactile sensory processing) and a 10-question PAQ-C (measuring physical activity levels).
