Relación de la microalbuminuria y la prediabetes en pacientes atendidos en CAP de Lima 2024

Abstract

El objetivo de estudio fue “Determinar cómo la microalbuminuria se relaciona con la prediabetes en pacientes atendidos en CAP de Lima 2024”. Se centró en el método hipotético deductivo, de tipo básica, no experimental y correlacional. Se trabajó con 154 historias clínicas de pacientes diagnosticados con prediabetes. Para la recolección de información se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos, cuya validez fue establecida mediante juicio de tres expertos y alcanzó un coeficiente de confiabilidad Alfa de Cronbach de 0.862. Los resultados del análisis estadístico evidenciaron una correlación positiva muy alta entre microalbuminuria y prediabetes, con un coeficiente de Pearson (r) = 0.838, indicando una relación directa y estadísticamente significativa entre ambas variables. Este hallazgo permite concluir que, a mayor disfunción glucémica en la etapa prediabética, mayor es la probabilidad de excreción elevada de albúmina urinaria.

The objective of this study was "To determine how microalbuminuria is related to prediabetes in patients treated at a Primary Care Center (CAP) in Lima in 2024." The research followed a hypothetico-deductive method, and was basic, non-experimental, and correlational in nature. A total of 154 medical records of patients diagnosed with prediabetes were analyzed. Data collection was carried out using a data collection form, whose validity was established through expert judgment by three specialists, and which achieved a Cronbach’s Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.862. The statistical analysis results revealed a very high positive correlation between microalbuminuria and prediabetes, with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) = 0.838, indicating a direct and statistically significant relationship between the two variables. This finding leads to the conclusion that the greater the glycemic dysfunction during the prediabetic stage, the higher the likelihood of elevated urinary albumin excretion.
