Síndrome de burnout y ansiedad en profesionales técnicos de enfermería en un Policlínico de Lima Metropolitana, 2023

Abstract

El presente estudio tuvo como finalidad establecer la relación existente entre el síndrome burnout y los niveles de ansiedad en profesionales técnicos de enfermería que laboran en un policlínico de Lima Metropolitana, 2023. Se empleó el Inventario de Burnout y el Cuestionario de Ansiedad Estado-Rasgo como instrumentos de evaluación. La investigación fue cuantitativa, no experimental y correlacional; en el que se empleó una muestra de 126 trabajadores de salud en un policlínico de Lima Metropolitana. Los resultados reflejaron que 66.7% presentaron niveles medios de síndrome de burnout y el 55.6% niveles altos de ansiedad. Asimismo, no existe relación significativa entre el síndrome burnout con ansiedad rasgo (rho=.165; p>0.05) y ansiedad estado (rho=0.03; p>0.05). Se concluye que la presencia de burnout no se asocia de manera relevante con la variable ansiedad, debido a que ambos factores podrían estar influenciados por variables de estudio diferente y no necesariamente interactúan entre sí en esta muestra.

The purpose of this study was to establish the relationsship between burnout síndrome and anxiety levels in technical nursing professionals working in a polyclinic in Metropolitan Lima, 2023. The Burnout Inventory and the State-Trait Anxiety Questionnaire were used as assessment instruments. The research was quantitative, non experimental, and correlational; in which a sample of 126 health workers was used in a polyclinic in Metropolitan Lima. The results reflected that 66.7% presented medium levels of burnout syndrome and 55.6% had high levels of anxiety. Likewise, there is no significant relationship between burnout syndrome with trait anxiety (rho=.165; p>0.05) and state anxiety (rho=0.03; p>0.05). It is concluded that the presence of burnout is not relevantly associated with the anxiety variable, because both factors could be influenced by different study variables and do not necessarily interact with each other in this sample.
