Efectividad del Programa Educación Sexual sobre el grado de conocimientos y la actitud de los docentes en Colegios de Lima, 2021

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente tesis fue determinar la efectividad de la aplicación del Programa Educativo “Educación Sexual” en el nivel de conocimiento y actitud en docentes de los colegios de secundaria de Lima. La investigación se llevó a cabo bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada y con un nivel explicativo, método hipotético deductivo, con diseño experimental y subdiseño cuasi – experimental. La implementación del programa se realizó a través de 30 sesiones educativas aplicadas a una muestra seleccionada de manera intencionada que estuvo constituida de 110 docentes. Para el acopio de datos se aplicó un instrumento mediante un cuestionario de alternativas múltiples y una escala tipo Likert, siendo necesario para el investigador conocer el antes y después de la intervención. El procesamiento y tratamiento de datos se llevó a cabo con el software estadístico SPSS versión 25 donde se utilizó la prueba de normalidad para determinar la prueba estadística (T de Student) y comprobar la efectividad del programa. En el análisis de los resultados se observó un incremento en el grado de conocimientos en la dimensión biológica y dimensión reproductiva de los docentes, de un 52,7% (29) quienes tuvieron un nivel bajo de conocimientos; al aplicar el programa “Educación sexual”, estas cifras presentaron cambios importantes, pues un 67,3% (37) y un 32,7% (18) mejoraron su nivel de conocimientos a alto y medio, con variación significativa comprobada con la T de Student (p = 0,00). En relación a la actitud de los docentes, se observó que en las dos dimensiones que conformaban la Escala de Likert hubo de 60% (33) con actitud negativa, después de la intervención se incrementó a actitud alta 78,2% (43), en la dimensión socio-afectiva; de 52,7% (29) de docentes con actitud negativa se incrementó 72,7% (40) a actitud alta en la dimensión ético-moral). Se concluye que el programa “Educación Sexual” tiene un efecto positivo en el grado de conocimientos y actitud de los docentes en relación a la Educación Sexual de los Adolescentes, aunque son necesarias más investigaciones no sólo con docentes sino con otros profesionales de salud y obstetras.

The objective of this thesis was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Educational Program "Sexual Education" in the level of knowledge and attitude in teachers of secondary schools in Lima. The research was carried out under the quantitative approach, of the applied type and with an explanatory level, hypothetical deductive method, with an experimental design and a quasi-experimental subdesign. The implementation of the program was carried out through 30 educational sessions applied to an intentionally selected sample that consisted of 110 teachers. For data collection, an instrument was applied through a questionnaire of multiple alternatives with a Likert scale, making it necessary for the researcher to know before and after the intervention. The processing and treatment of data was carried out with the statistical software SPSS where the normality test was used to determine the statistical test (Student's T) and verify the effectiveness of the program. In the analysis of the results, an increase in the degree of knowledge in the biological dimension and reproductive dimension of the teachers was observed, of 52.7% (29) who had a low level of knowledge; When applying the "Sex Education" program, these figures presented important changes, since 67.3% (37) and 32.7% (18) improved their level of knowledge to high and medium, with significant variation verified with the T Student's (p = 0.00). In relation to the attitude of the teachers, it was observed that in the two dimensions that made up the Likert Scale there were 60% (33) with a negative attitude, after the intervention it increased to a high attitude 78.2% (43), in the socioaffective dimension; of 52.7% (29) of teachers with a negative attitude, 72.7% (40) increased to a high attitude in the ethical-moral dimension). It is concluded that the "Sexual Education" program has a positive effect on the degree of knowledge and attitude of teachers in relation to the Sexual Education of Adolescents, although more research is necessary not only with teachers but with other health professionals and obstetricians.
