Recuento de plaquetas por método manual versus automatizado en pacientes pediátricos trasplantados en el INEN, 2025

Abstract

El estudio comparará el recuento de plaquetas en pacientes pediátricos trasplantados de médula ósea, utilizando métodos manual y automatizado en el INEN, 2025.La investigación pretende determinar si existe una correlación significativa entre ambos métodos y analizar la influencia de variables como edad y sexo en los resultados. antecedentes internacionales y nacionales que analizan la precisión y confiabilidad de diferentes técnicas para contar plaquetas, resaltando ventajas y limitaciones de los métodos. Con respecto a la metodología empleará un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, con diseño no experimental, mediante el análisis de 120 registros de laboratorio del INEN, utilizando técnicas de recolección mediante fichas y análisis estadístico en SPSS y se respetarán aspectos éticos y de confidencialidad, con aprobación del comité de ética del INEN y la institución educativa.

The study will compare platelet counts in pediatric bone marrow transplant patients using manual and automated methods at the INEN (National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases) in 2025. The research aims to determine if there is a significant correlation between both methods and to analyze the influence of variables such as age and sex on the results. It will also review international and national background studies that analyze the accuracy and reliability of different platelet counting techniques, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each method. Regarding the methodology, a quantitative, applied, non-experimental design will be used, analyzing 120 laboratory records from the INEN. Data will be collected using forms and statistically analyzed using SPSS. Ethical and confidentiality considerations will be respected, with approval from the INEN ethics committee and the educational institution.
