Autoconcepto académico y el consumo de psicoestimulantes en estudiantes de pregrado, de una universidad. Lima, Perú 2021

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el autoconcepto académico y el consumo de psicoestimulantes en estudiantes de Posgrado de una Universidad, Lima Perú 2021. Metodología: Estudio de tipo aplicado, con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental descriptivo, correlacional y corte transversal. Se trabajó con una muestra de 108 estudiantes (72 mujeres y 36 hombres) empleando dos instrumentos de evaluación 1º Encuesta de Autoconcepto Académico (EAA), y 2º Encuesta sobre el uso de psicoestimulantes (ENSUPE) las cuales fueron validadas por cinco juicios de expertos. Se utilizó el programa estadístico SPSS versión 21. Resultados: Según el Coeficiente de correlación de Rho Spearman se evidenció valores de -0.031 determinando así una correlación negativa débil entre las variables Autoconcepto Académico y uso de Psicoestimulantes. El 79. 63% de la población presentó un nivel de autoconcepto medio y el 20.37% un nivel de autoconcepto alto. El valor del puntaje total de la dimensión Rendimiento Percibido fue de -0.007 al relacionarla con la variable Uso de psicoetimulantes, determinando así que no existe correlación. El valor del puntaje total de la dimensión Autoeficacia Académica fue de -0.022 presentando una correlación negativa débil al relacionarla con la variable Uso de psicoestimulantes. Por último, la variable Autoconcepto Académico mostró un valor de -0.038 al relacionarla con el factor Consideración de mejora del Uso de Psicoestimulantes, evidenciando así una correlación negativa débil. Conclusión: se evidenció una correlación negativa débil entre las variables de estudio.

Objective: To determine the relation between academic self-concept and the consumption of psychostimulants in Postgraduate students of a University, Lima Peru 2021. Methodology: An applied study, with a quantitative approach, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional non-experimental design. We worked with a sample of 108 students (72 women and 36 men) using two assessment instruments 1st Academic Self-Concept Survey (EAA), and 2nd Survey on the use of psychostimulants (ENSUPE) which were validated by five expert judgments. The statistical program SPSS version 21 was used. Results: According to the Rho Spearman correlation coefficient, values of -0.031 were evidenced, thus determining a weak negative correlation between the variables Academic Self-concept and use of Psychostimulants. 79. 63% of the population presented a medium level of self-concept and 20.37% a high level of self-concept. The value of the total score of the Perceived Performance dimension was -0.007 when relating it to the variable Use of psycho-stimulants, thus determining that there is no correlation. The value of the total score of the Academic Self-efficacy dimension was -0.022L, presenting a weak negative correlation when related to the variable use of psychostimulants. Finally, the Academic Self-concept variable showed a value of -0.038 when related to the factor Consideration of improvement in the use of psychostimulants , thus showing a weak negative correlation. Conclusion: a weak negative correlation was evidenced between the study variables.
