Nivel de conocimientos de almacenamiento de material estéril y práctica en el personal de Enfermería, Hospital Público Tarapoto, 2024

Abstract

Actualmente, los avances tecnológicos a nivel mundial están generando transformaciones importantes en el mundo, aunque también conllevan nuevos desafíos de salud. Entre estos desafíos, destacan las infecciones asociadas a la atención de salud, las cuales representan un riesgo considerable para la salud del usuario. Por consiguiente, es fundamental que los trabajadores de salud, estén debidamente formados con habilidades y procedimientos adecuados para prevenir dichas infecciones. El presente estudio, tiene la finalidad de evaluar el nivel de conocimiento del almacenamiento de material estéril y las prácticas del equipo de enfermería del Hospital Público de Tarapoto en 2024. Materiales y Métodos: La investigación se llevará a cabo siguiendo el método hipotético-deductivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental, transversal y nivel correlacional. La población de estudio estará compuesta por el personal de enfermería, seleccionando una muestra de 93 enfermeras mediante un muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple, de acuerdo con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos. Se utilizará la técnica de encuesta, aplicando un cuestionario y una lista de verificación, instrumentos adaptados y validados previamente por la Lic. Evelyn Sánchez Díaz en un hospital de EsSalud en Lima, Perú, en 2021, lo que demostró su validez y confiabilidad. El procesamiento y análisis de los datos se llevará a cabo mediante el software Excel y el programa estadístico SPSS v26. Para el análisis descriptivo, se emplearán tablas de frecuencias y representaciones gráficas, mientras que la hipótesis será contrastada utilizando la prueba de Rho de Spearman, considerándose significativos los valores de p<0,05.

Among these challenges, health care-associated infections stand out, which represent a considerable risk to the user's health. Therefore, it is essential that health workers are properly trained with adequate skills and procedures to prevent these infections. The study population will be composed of nursing staff, selecting a sample of 93 nurses through simple random probabilistic sampling, according to the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The survey technique will be used, applying a questionnaire and a checklist, instruments adapted and previously validated by Lic. Evelyn Sánchez Díaz in an EsSalud hospital in Lima, Peru, in 2021, which demonstrated its validity and reliability. Data processing and analysis will be carried out using Excel software and the SPSS v26 statistical program. For the descriptive analysis, frequency tables and graphic representations will be used, while the hypothesis will be tested using Spearman's Rho test, with values of p<0.05 considered significant.
